I have LG 55UM7450PLA LED TV. It came out of the box with firmware v04.70.20. and was working fine. After I installed the new firmware from

the picture degraded. In fact not so much the picture in general but processing of text, logos, subtitles etc. Like some bad and heavy picture compression is going on. I did reset the TV and cold reboot and tried with all possbile picture combinations but nothing helped. Now Im stuck until the next official update because it seams that LG uploaded the TEST/BETA firmware! This info I found out .

I've just updated my LG 55UM75 TV to the latest software version - 05..20.15 - and now the picture looks off.
I've turned off TruMotion, Motion Eye Care, Smooth Gradation, Noise Reduction and Smooth Gradation, but somehow everything still looks artificial.
Is there another picture setting I'm missing, I've gone through every setting I can find.

      Hi there,

I have an LG smart TV OLED65G36LA (LG OS v03.20.17, webOS TV version 8.20.0-710) , and the Prime Video App was no longer able to update (from Dec 2025) and therefore could no longer be used.
I have tried uninstalling the app and re-installing, and that was unable to work, so then applied a full reset on the LG TV and so had to reinstall all of my other apps (Apple TV, Netflix, etc etc) which all successfully downloaded so confirmed network connections and setup are all confirmed working.
When I try to download the Prime Video app, it remains stuck on the download screen and is unable to update.
      Thanks

I've update 2 of my LG Digital signage TVs (Model 65UH5J-HP) to the latest firmware (3.74.00). Before updating I was able to access the admin menu using "000000" as the default PWD. After updating, I am no longer able to use that default password to access the admin menu. It's giving me a message saying "Incorrect password (Same number repeated). Please try again"
      I tried to usual suspects:
      123456
      654321
      111111
      666666
No bueno  - anyone got any insights?  LG corporate support was unable to help either.
