Hey, I have 3 NAS (DLNA) successfully connected to my OLED65C97LA since months and from one day to another all three have the same issue. So I must be a bug in LG TV? But I do not know what to do?
      - I can click on all 3 DLNA and its open a choice box for "music" or "image and video".
      - Click on all 3 DLNA for "music" and I get access to this DLNA and see my music files and can play it.
      - Click on all 3 DLNA für "image and video" and I get now only a black screen. I can move the cursor and open menus, but DLNA is black.
Am I the only one with this problem?

A company that understands there’s no place like home, LG is trying to make home life even better through expanding the customer experience offered by its advanced appliances.

LG presents consumers with a diverse range of products spanning around 20 different product categories, including home appliances, TVs, information technology and signage solutions. Right now, there are almost 200 million LG smart home appliances delivering customized convenience to people all over the globe. Via its rich ecosystem of products, and with the consent of its customers, the company is actively collecting and organizing data throughout the entire customer journey. Based on the analysis of this data, LG is developing various services and features to further improve the customer experience.
By utilizing ‘big data,’ the company is showing how digital transformation (DX) can simultaneously enhance business competitiveness and bring greater value to consumers. LG is applying DX technology to several key areas of its operations, such as product development, manufacturing and sales; improving the way the company works while also creating first, unique and new – or F.U.N. – customer experiences.
Let’s take a look at some of the innovative ‘DX-powered’ services that LG is able to provide its customers.

      Proactive Customer Care
Inconvenient and rare though it may be, sometimes, home appliances don’t function as intended. To help avoid any major breakdowns, and the hassle that invariably comes along with them, LG developed a technology that preemptively checks for any potential issues and takes action in advance if any is required. The collection and analysis of home appliance data makes it possible to identify if a product has been incorrectly installed or is being improperly used, flagging the problem before any actual damage is done.
LG is expanding this preventive maintenance technology, which is being used throughout its home appliance lineups, by incorporating data-based AI care services. One such service enables the company’s washing machines to notify users when the drum needs cleaning due to laundry contamination or inform them if there is a risk of pipes freezing or bursting due to cold ambient temperatures. Active rather than passive, LG’s AI customer care features can be easily managed using the LG ThinQ app.

      Upgradable Home Appliances
LG’s paradigm-altering ThinQ UP home appliances can adapt to the unique and changing lifestyles of each customer thanks to their impressive upgradability. A first for the home appliance industry, ThinQ UP technology, which allows customers to choose which additional features or functions they download and install, was no small task to develop.
In addition to providing a more tailored experience to users, ThinQ UP has helped LG to lower the total cost of developing and testing new functions for its appliances. In the future, ThinQ UP functions will be continuously improved based on customer usage data.

In order to deliver innovations like ThinQ UP, it is essential to first gain a deep understanding of how customers live. LG achieves this through analyzing product usage data and a variety of ‘external’ user data, such as whether the user is sensitive to heat, how much water they drink, and whether or not they have pets.
      Customer Index
Developed and managed by LG, the Customer Index provides a wealth of data that the company is leveraging to make its smart home appliances – and related services – even smarter. The Index is helping to extend and enhance the user experience by revealing underlying usage patterns as well as customers’ hidden wants and needs – which LG then addresses by crafting clever, new services linked to its products.

In the future, owners of LG Objet Collection products who are interested in interior design will be able to use the company’s interior platform to find décor inspiration and purchase interior accessories that match with the aesthetic of their home appliances. As another example of what could soon be possible, LG’s Styler, washing machine and dryers may be able to connect users with specialist mobile laundry services aligned with their specific needs uncovered through the analysis of usage data.

By seamlessly combining products, data and services into a unified whole, LG will create continuous customer experience innovation that delivers unprecedented value and convenience. And through its commitment to implementing DX technologies, the company will keep on growing and refining its ability to help consumers everywhere enjoy healthier, happier lives.

The Company’s First Diagnostic Monitor With IPS Black Technology,
Features an 8-Megapixel Resolution and a 2,000:1 Contrast Ratio

SEOUL, May 30, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) has launched its 31.5-inch IPS Black diagnostic monitor (model 32HQ713D). The company’s first medical monitor to employ IPS Black technology, the new model provides sharp, clear images with vibrant colors and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio. LG’s new diagnostic monitor delivers consistent image quality via automatic self-calibration and ease-of-use with 6 convenient hotkeys.
Thanks to an 8-megapixel resolution (3,840 x 2,160 pixels), LG’s IPS Black diagnostic monitor offers the level of clarity needed for medical imaging, including x-rays, mammograms and CT scans. With Multi-Resolution Mode (8, 6 and 4MP), users can adjust screen resolution to suit the type of image being viewed.
Equipped with IPS Black technology, the 32HQ713D provides clear image definition with deep blacks and detailed expression in the low gray tones. LG’s diagnostic monitor also features a built-in front calibration sensor that enables automatic self-calibration to help keep image quality stable.
Additionally, the 32HQ713D comes with Focus View Mode and Pathology Mode. Controllable with either mouse or keyboard, Focus View Mode makes it possible to select a specific part of an image to review – dimming the rest of the screen to help highlight the area of concern. Pathology Mode provides image clarity and accuracy as if looking at a microscope.
LG’s new diagnostic monitor offers a convenient user experience with 6 hotkeys that make it quick and simple to adjust various settings, including mode, screen resolution and lighting. For convenient management, the Presence Sensor automatically turns the display off after 5 minutes if no motion has been detected. The monitor also comes with a one-click stand that simplifies the installation process and offers ergonomic comfort with adjustable tilt, height and swivel.
“LG’s new diagnostic monitor offers the high contrast needed for displaying clear medical imaging,” said Silas Choi, vice president and head of the B2B solution business division of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company. “Leveraging our outstanding display technology, we will continue to provide medical monitors that meet the specific needs of medical professionals.”

Hi, like the title says. Whenever I try watching Dolby vision content in my LG A2 it just shows a black screen. The sounds plays perfectly fine without any issue. It is just the video that is not working. I don't have any HDMI inputs connected. This content worked in the past, but for some reason is not working anymore. I have already tried power cycling the tv and deleting and reinstalling the apps I tried it on.
      Thanks for any help!

At the start of every year, almost everybody in the tech world gathers in Las Vegas to show off their newest products, technologies and concepts at CES, the world’s biggest consumer electronics show. This year, participating companies were determined to demonstrate how their innovative products and solutions help solve some of Earth’s greatest challenges and change the lives of thousands, if not millions, for the better.
Inspired by its belief that the answer is always with the customer, LG showcased its most advanced customer-centered innovations that provide entirely new value and convenience to its customers. Here are the five tech keywords for 2023 which cover the areas of personalization, sustainability and virtual reality.

      Me, Myself and I
With far more people inclined to seek a living space that fully matches their personality, leading consumer electronics companies are rethinking their product development approach in order to build appliances that not only possess excellent features, but also blend effortlessly into various home interiors.
With this new attitude also comes a greater demand for personalized viewing experiences, especially as people spend more time at home since the onset of the pandemic. That’s why every TV being released is now equipped with an operating system that employs all kinds of features that help individuals find their perfect show instantly with next to no effort on their part.

      Future of Mobility
Major car makers are shifting their production to electric vehicles and joining top-tier tech software companies to reimagine what a car could and should do in the future. The growing importance of the in-vehicle experience is transforming the future of automobility.
LG’s Vehicle component Solutions Company is committed to enhancing the driving experience through its expertise and know-how of vehicle parts technologies, so that its customers can develop advanced car models that make the journey more entertaining, easier and, most importantly, safer.

      Lifestyle Devices for Healthier Life
After living with the pandemic for so long, people are now more concerned with their health than ever before. Under these renewed circumstances, people desire lifestyle devices and solutions that can empower them to take control of their health care and wellbeing while lowering costs at home.
In line with this trend, lifestyle devices and solutions with digital health technologies will stand out for these growingly discerning customers, who are willing to pay more for products that seem to be made for their healthier lives.

      Sustainable Living
For everyone who attended or followed this year’s CES, it was clear that sustainability was a major focus. More and more companies, regardless of size and industry, are ranking sustainability higher on their business agendas, which means more companies are inventing products and services with various eco-friendly and accessible features.
LG showcased the company’s ESG vision in an exclusive exhibit through the Better Life for All zone at CES 2023, introducing a comprehensive overview of LG’s sustainability efforts.

      Be in It
With the metaverse still deemed to be the future for tech, especially in the gaming industry, more and more people want cutting-edge devices that can make images or sounds that appear far more lifelike than today.
Driven by growing expectations and demand for a greater sense of reality, more innovative products that help users feel fully immersed in the digital environment will be further thrust into the spotlight in 2023.
