I want to add myself to this list. I have a 55SM9000PUA which I just got, and screen share isn't an icon on the menu below, neither is it an app in the app store. I cannot find it either by going into my android settings>connected devices>connection preferences>Cast. I can't find a way to place the TV into Screen Share mode so that my phone can detect it. If someone has any ideas, please, Im all ears.

That's great for connecting from a computer, but I want to connect with my Android phone. How do I do that?

Nvm, got it. For anyone reading this in the future: don't need smart share anymore, just go to bottom right corner of PC screen (notification icon), click connect in there, find TV in the list. You need to be on same wifi

While flying cars are still quite far away from being a real thing, some of the ideas we used to have about life of the future have turned into a reality. Smart living powered by Internet of Things (IoT) devices is a perfect example. Through its industry-leading IoT technologies, LG is more committed than ever to providing consumers with an all-around better quality of life by enabling connected smart homes powered by ThinQ.
To give travelers a taste of this smart living far away from home, LG Taiwan partnered with two accommodation providers in the city of Yilan, located on the nation’s northeastern coast, to offer a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

As part of this two-year partnership, LG Taiwan teamed up with

For the most advanced and unique smart home experience, the villa’s guest rooms are packed with popular LG smart home appliances, smart TVs and AV products so that they can try everything and experience how easy it is to control them all on the ThinQ app.

My remote and tv were working perfectly fine until my power button wouldn’t turn my tv off. Every other button worked except the power button so I changed the batteries and nothing changed. So then I pressed the home and back button thing and it de-registered my remote. So when I press ok to re-register my remote nothing was working on the remote at all. The power light still turns on with every button I press but will not connect back to the tv. So I then download the thinkQ app and oroceed to reset my tv. Which was probably the worst mistake I could make because now my tv is stuck on “press the ok(wheel) button on your remote” and cannot detect the remote what so ever. I keep calling customer care but they keep telling me to buy a new remote which I don’t think is the problem since it works on my other lg tvs in the home. I’m stuck with a tv that won’t display anything but press ok(wheel) button on your remote.
