All apps are installed from the LG Content Store:

HBO-Go is region locked app, so it may not be available in your country. You have several topics here about it.

I am frustrated that HBO Go is not offered for my LG TV (65" OLED 4K) that I bought just a couple of months ago.  The previous post mentioned that it may be "region locked". Weird because I live in the Los Angeles area and HBO Go works fine on my phone. Seems strange that they wouldn't provide this for a supposedly high end TV.

Yeah, I did quite a bit of research before I bought it and was under the impression that I could download this and other apps . . . and now find I can't.  I'm returning the TV and getting either another non-smart TV with a Roku box or a Roku TV.  This TV is small 24" so I'd originally thought that might be the issue, but yours not having it?  Makes no sense because my 6-year-old Panasonic has plenty of apps including HBO Go, Showtime, etc.!

When are we finally getting the option to turn off the ridiculous "fireworks" screensaver? I didn't spend thousands on a new TV to watch this screen every 2 minutes, and especially not when I am playing Spotify songs and can't see what songs are up next or even follow lyrics!
It's one thing to build features to prevent build-in, but another if they make using the TV properly a problem. Give us the ability to choose for ourselves if we want this protection or not, and don't force our hands please.

      Hi there,.
It is now clear that any  OS, except android and apple,  suffers from low number of apps.
It is a shame to struggle with a 'named smart tv' to run a Web site or find a commonly used app!

Ok! We are stuck with this rubbish OS (bad OS due to the poor App stoee) , why LG doesn't develop an adapter to run android TV apps on the TV? Maybe after testing them, you can allow certain famous apps. Moreover, why don't they provide an easy porting tool for the developer?
Anyway, if they don't do this, I would advise any one to buy an android TV and ignore the useless OSs such as Tiazen or Webos.
      Regards,
