Samsung, Sony, Apple TV, and many other competitors have the Steam Link app. It was available for Android TVs that had access to the Play Store.
When I set up my new LG OLED TV and realized WebOS doesn’t have access to Steam Link, Moonlight, or another comparable app, all I could think was “I wish I stuck with Samsung when upgrading to OLED.”

Hi. I own C9 for ~2 years and I've been using it wired to my network. Lately I've moved to a new place and I'm unable to connect it to my home network using Ethernet cable.
In short: TV doesn't get IP from dhcpd. When I provide IP manually it won't connect also (but is listed on UniFi Cloud Key device list with that IP. Seems like Ethernet interface is not brought up by TV).
DHCPD is run on the router which is a pfSense device. When I connect TV over Wifi - it successfully obtains IP from the very same DHCP server.
I've looked into dhcpd logs on the pfSense and when TV is connected via Ethernet cable, it casts DHCPDDISCOVER, gets DHCPOFFER from the server, but then never casts DHCPREQUEST to get DHCPPACK. So I see DHCPDISCOVER & DHCPOFFER loop in the logs.
I've been suspecting there is another dhcp server in my network that LG TV is sending DHCPREQUEST to, but this is highly unlikely and I've enabled dhcpd guarding on the switch just to be sure.
In terms of hardware, comparing to my previous apartment I have a new switch here (Unifi) and new in-wall cabling (Cat 6a). I doubt switch and cables makes a difference here. TV firmware is the latest. Connection is OK (I've checked it with a network tester). Network port is OK, standard LAN VLAN. I've doublechecked everything and running out of ideas.
Any ideas / tips how to diagnoze and solve this issue?
I'd really like to have it wired instead of wirelessly connected.

I recently purchased an LG OLED48C2AUA. Frankly, I'm not pleased. The biggest problem is searching for programs, particularly across apps. For example, if I'm in Netflix, and search for a program that happens to be in Prime Video, using voice control (Alexa or LG) or the speak button on the remote, I usually get random UTube trailers or other suggestions, or no suggestions at all. It seems I have to know in advance what streaming app it's on, and even that doesn't work all the time. Before purchasing this TV, I used to be able to immediately find the program using the voice control on my Xfinity remote, or the Roku remote (if the program was on a streaming service) and my "unsmart" Sharp TV, with the input set to either cable box or Roku, as appropriate.
I don't want to have to know in advance what app the program is streaming on to find it. I want to be able to simply say "Alexa, show me "Boardwalk Empire", no matter what program or app the TV is currently tuned to. I want the complete list of possibilities to choose from, particularly since some may be free, depending on my subscriptions. Is this possible?

hello,
I'm having problems with terrestrial TV broadcasts after installing the (Version 06.10.30) software package. The TV broadcasts that were saved are out of order and the search no longer runs as before. Suddenly the search bar jumps from 0% to 100% and no broadcasts are found. Neither radio nor TV. I have tried 3 DVBT2 antennas and two coax cables to see if that is the problem. But all of them behaved the same way on the TV, which is an LG 60SJ850V-ZA. I also tried a full TV reset but that didn't help. I also had the TV turned off for a longer period of time with no electricity, but it made no difference. The release date of the softer package is in December on the site, for me it appeared on the TV (OTA) around late January - early February. Should I expect a new patch in the near future or should I try a downgrade? Any other advice? Thanks in advance for your replies.
I'm currently buying a DVBT2 TV-BOX to watch the channels that are important to me, it's just a bit funny that I need this for such an "expensive" TV (for me). It is not a modern AI piece, but still...

Yes, faced similar issue. Downloaded the app and tried to play a video but it won't play even after 15Mbps internet speed. Initially thought I'm doing something wrong but after reading your post

I checked yesterday and it started working. Looks like they have fixed it. Nitin
