Hi guys,

i've got a small problem. you see, last week my mainboard of my tv (LG42LB650V) died so i ordered a new one from ebay. Now i've installed it i realize that the new mainboard is for a 630V which means it doesn't allow for 3d. Is this a firmware issue or a physical limitation? I've tried flashing a new firmware thats for the 650V but it didn't change anything. Some advice would be nice!

I'm guessing that there would be a chip to handle the 3D, if you have tried flashing the 650V firmware and it has made no difference you have probably answered your own question.

But wouldn't flashing the 650V firmware make it so it would say model: 650V? Because it is still displaying the 630V model number...

As you have tried flashing the board and it is still telling you it is a 630V it would seem logical to assume that the flash did not actually work as the board is not compatible with the 650V firmware.
