55UJ6309 Webos3.5 no multi screen feature

Recommended Posts

I recently bought a 55UJ6309 TV with one a must to have requirements is the multiscreen feature.

I thought that Webos 3.5 was supporting it but I discovered unfortunately that it was not !!

I would like to know whether this feature is under development and will be updated in the nearest future or not ?

Thank you in advance

My guess that it maybe under development since Apple TV 4K has that exact capabilities with it A10X SoC that is used on the latest iPad Pro models.  I do not think that current LG TV line up's current CPUs and amount of RAM installed have the horsepower to do multi-screen functions.   Maybe in 5 years, that would be possible that LG will have this function built-in.  But now or next year! Apple SoC are cutting edge and takes time to come to reach that level of computer power.

Thank for the answer,

In my understanding, it was available with WebOS 3.0 and now they somehow retrograded !!

It's really bad since I need this feature and I'm thinking to switch to Samsung which they have it as basic option, although I like the LG ones..
