LG 49SE3KB-B webOs

Being a signage display the device does not appear to run fully blown webOS but is compatible with SuperSign-w lite & SuperSign-c and as such has no general web browsing capabilities.  It would seem that it relies on an external source for any input, so you would need to connect a computer to it to be able to browse the web.  I think you can load web content on to it but not browse it live, not really something I have investigated before.  Perhaps something low cost like a Raspberry Pi would be the way to go.

    • Any idea of recovering Android Lost Contacts?

I was composing a message and the phone got stuck when I was about to select the recipients. (Wanted to group send message so that’s why I was not answering directly.) After waiting for a while the phone was still not responding then I forced to shut down and turned it on again. Okay I again edited the same text and tap to choose receivers. Good grief! NO CONTACTS! EMPTY! Why? What happened?

I first tried to sync Gmail contacts back to my HTC, however when I logged in to Gmail and it was the same! NO CONTACTS!

Long story short, I finally found Myjad Android Contact Recovery which seems to be useful because I want simply the contacts. So is there anyone tried successfully restoring lost contacts with this program? Any advice? Many thanks!

    • PreCentral: New Enyo Developer Directory to hook up idea people with developer people

The Enyo application framework is good for more than just webOS apps - it's been purposefully designed to be almost entirely platform agnostic, allowing developers to create apps that target tablets and smartphones and desktops and browsers alike with little modification. We don't want to stereotype too much here, but we know there are a lot of developers out there looking for an idea, and a lot of idea people out there looking for a developer to make their app. The Enyo JS team at HP/Gram wants to help hook up those idea people and developer types, so this week they launched the Enyo Developer Directory. It's exactly what you might think - a directory of developers that are experienced with the creation of Enyo apps. At launch the Enyo directory includes just twelve developers from across the United States and Europe, but like any good directory they want to expand it to have more names listed. So check out the list, and if you think you're the kind of developer that should be included in this lofty company, shoot the Enyo team a note.
