Does YouTube TV app work on LG WebOs TV?

Question

Does YouTube TV app work on LG WebOs TV? It doesn't appear to be listed as an app that can be installed. If not, can it be downloaded?

Thanks.

Tom

Are you talking about Youtube, or "YouTube TV"?  YouTuybe TV is a streaming service for Live TV, not the same as YouTube.

I have the exact same question, i signed up for the 30 day free trial of YouTube TV and excitedly got home browising the apps in my LG Content store and was unable to find an install link for YouTube TV.  I have all of the others, Youtube, Youtube Kids, hell even Google Play Movies, but not YouTube TV. Do i need to update the firmware on my TV, contact LG, contact Google, are their any homebrew OSs that can be installed or side loaded into my TV?

YouTube Live TV requires Chrome browser or a yet to be released app for WebOS. Meaning, no support for current version of LG WebOS Smart TV's. :(

Not yet.....visit youtube tv site for platforms supported. They say they are working on others including webOS and will have it soon.
