LG 4k UHD 49UH6030 t.v. internet connection speed

Jay Joe

Question

With a LAN wire internet connection what is the highest download speed this t.v. can receive?  Mine seems to get only about a 30-40mbps download speed, but sometimes less.

What does the connection cap at?

Manual shows information for a wireless connection, but can't make sense of the explaining of the chart anyways.

Contacted LG by phone and email, no response from email at all, phone support just seem to know nothing about it and said wait for the email response.

Its be almost 2 weeks, can't anyone verify if this T.V. can get a higher internet connection download speed (like 100 - 150 mbps) ?

I’ve tried Google, Facebook, and Amazon. All 3 have a blank black screen, no sign in rendered.

I’ve tried a manual login. Tells me to use google. I created an iCloud account to log in. I can log into LGs website. I cannot sign into the TV with the newly created email. It says there’s a temporary problem.

Hi all, so I have 2 LG OLED TVs at home and I am connecting them to 5GHZ Wi-Fi, no problem until yesterday. Suddenly, I am not able to use the apps (Netflix, IPTV, Disney etc.) and both TVs are showing connection issues. The same Wi-Fi works on my PC and mobile though. So I tried connecting using a different Wi-Fi with my hotspot and both TVs worked again with no problems. I tried restarting my router many times and my provider said there is no issue on their end, but I am not able to use the home Wi-Fi anymore.
Have you seen this before? Is it possible that my provider blocked my LGTVs from accessing their network?
      Thanks

Hi, I've just bought an OLED G2 83. It's all working fine but I cannot get any apps or login to my LG account on it. I can login on my phone and can connect to the TV on that. However, when I try and install any apps, the TV says that I need to sign into my LG account. When I input my details, I get 'The email address that you entered has already been registered with Facebook account. Do you want to login with Facebook Account?' Clicking on OK just takes me back to 'Sign in on TV LG Account Sign In' so I am stuck in the same circle.
I have tried to reset my password through the LG site but, as I am in Portugal, I am getting a message saying that you cannot use social media sites to login in that country.

      What should I do?

I recently updated the firmware on my  LG43UH610V.  Now I constantly get "Wired Lan cable disconnected" / "Wired network is connected" messages even while watching a video file from my NAS. The TV is connected and using the network while getting these messages. It has always been on a fixed IP address on the LAN.
