According to Danish site flatpanels.dk, we will soon see a number of new webOS smart TV apps including:
Spotify (to be introduced within weeks)
DR TV (2014)
TV2 Play (2014)
TDC Blockbuster (2014)
The last three above are apps from Danish TV stations or internet services. But the first I assume is an international launch to whereever Spotify is available.
Flatpanels.dk also asked LG about HBO Nordic, and the answer was that there is a dialog, but nothing concrete to tell yet.

So i have a brand new OLED 65inch, the Sky now APP installed on the tv wont play the UHD content from sky, I do have the right subscription and when i use a amazon fire stick with the Now app installed it will play UHD Content, i just cant figure out why the tv installed app wont play it. The Tv will play UDH content from other apps installed on the TV so i know its capable just something between the TV and Now app wont allow UHD Content, any ideas???
TV: LG 55UJ630V
OS Version: 5.80.50
Problem: Spotify is laggy, stops occassionally and is basically a sub-prime experience.
I can play 4K TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime etc absolutely fine, so why should an audio app have problems?
My LG TV is quite an old version, and I don’t even remember when it was purchased. Now I’m looking to replace it with a new one, preferably one that can connect to the internet. It would be even better if it could directly use Spotify. If your TV is the one I seek, please let me know the model. Right now, on my old TV, I can only download Spotify to computer separately and then transfer it to the TV using an MP3.

I can't find the Spotify app on the LG Content Store. When I search it, there is no result. Anyone can help me to get Spotify on LG Smart TV? I tried to use DRmare Software to download Spotify songs to USB flash drive and play them on my LG Smart TV offline for free. But I prefer to use it via the Spotify app directly.
