Question

I have a LG 65QNED92AUA tv that has issues with the Bluetooth connection dropping off when connected to my earbuds. I believe the issue to be software related. LG has sent 2 technicians out to repair and the first technician changed the main board and Bluetooth transmitter which did not resolve the issue.
There are similar issues with Bluetooth Connection from others.

Since hardware replacement didn’t help and this is a known software-pattern issue, I would like push LG to specifically address it at the firmware/webOS level. I am unable to escalate to their software team and check if there’s a known patch or beta firmware for the QNED92 line.
For some reason this line of questioning is not available with in LG customer service.

 Please help!

FYI my Bluetooth issue that I have been having is now fixed and it was the 4th service company sent out by LG. The issue was that LG Doesn’t deal well with Dolby Audio and my Xfinity Cable box HDMI Audio Output: was set to Auto and was falsely recognizing setting to Dolby Audio. They changed the setting to Stereo. Problem solved! I turned off the Dolby Audio on my Nvidia pro box! Now my Bluetooth earbuds are working as they should without any problems dropping off when I change channels or HDMI inputs. Crazy that LG nor other service companies had no idea about this issue.

l was so disappointed with this issue that I even sent an letter to the CEO of LG. I tried and tried to get to someone in there software department. Glad we finally resolved this.

Hope this helps others!

      Hi everyone,

I’m running into a very inconsistent issue when streaming my Windows 11 PC with apollo (fork of Sunshine) to my LG C4 TV using Moonlight (webOS).
The setup worked perfectly for about 6 months at 2K / 90 FPS with high bitrate.
Around 2–3 weeks ago, the issue started without any clear change on the PC side (possibly after a webOS update).

      Symptoms:
      •    Moonlight on the TV shows “connection unstable” with a black screen
      •    Behavior is inconsistent and unpredictable :
Sometimes nothing works at all with black screen Sometimes 2K / high bitrate work or not yesterday 2K didn't work but lowest resolution (1280x..) worked •    Streaming to my phone works fine, so the host PC and network seem OK

      What I’ve tried:
      •    Clean reinstall of Moonlight on the TV and Apollo/Sunshine on the PC
      •    H.264 only (no HEVC, no AV1, HDR off for testing)
      •    All bitrate / FPS / resolution combinations
      •    Ethernet and Wi-Fi
      •    Different Windows display modes
      •    Virtual display disabled
      Setup:
      •    Host PC: Windows 11, NVIDIA GPU (RTX 3070)
      •    Apollo installed on PC
      •    LG C4 TV, webOS 10.2.2, sideloaded Moonlight client (1.6.36)
      •    PC and TV tested on both Ethernet and Wi-Fi (2 gbps internet speed on my computer)
      •    Streaming to other clients (android phone) seems to work reliably

Feel free to ask me any information needed
      Thanks for your help

Title says it all.  Install a new 50 inch LG tv.  For every app and App Store it displays that message.  I have a great network and the TV is approx 30 feet from the wifi router.  It will play TV (not sure if that is coming over the air) and the phone app sees and can control the TV but not one app will work?
Any ideas or just return it?
      Thanks

Whenever I start any video—whether it’s streaming apps, HDMI input, or a USB movie—the SC9S plays for a minute or two, then suddenly loses connection. Audio instantly falls back to the TV’s internal speakers, and the TV acts like the soundbar no longer exists on the eARC port. The soundbar display still shows “eARC” (sometimes flips to “OPT/ARC” for a second), but no sound.
      Temporary Fix
The only thing that gets audio back is power-cycling the TV (standby isn’t enough; full reboot required). After that, the bar reconnects… until the next random dropout. This can happen multiple times during a single movie, which is a great way to kill the vibe.
      What I’ve Tried
New HDMI 2.1-certified cable (same result, so original cable seems fine).
Disabled Quick Start+ and Simplink in the TV settings, then re-enabled.
      Factory-reset both TV and soundbar.
Tested ARC instead of eARC—works, but no Atmos and same occasional dropout.
Plugged the soundbar into a different power outlet (in case of power spike).
      Observed Patterns
Dropouts happen sooner with Dolby Atmos or DTS content, but even stereo YouTube videos eventually cut out.
No obvious heat buildup; bar is in open air, front facing.
Happens whether soundbar is wall-mounted or on its stand.
      Questions for the Hive Mind
Anyone else seeing eARC instability with the SC9S on the UP77 series?
Could this be a handshake timing bug on the TV’s HDMI board?
Any hidden service-menu tweaks or firmware betas worth trying?
Should I just RMA the bar, or is the TV the real diva here?
Appreciate any insight—my couch and I thank you in advance!

The LG WebOS Plex App will not start without internet access even though the App is used to access local Media from a Plex Sever on the local network.  Samsung, Roku, AppleTV Plex Apps ALL work on the local network playing local Media even if internet access is not available.  This is a dealbreaker. I will NOT purchase anymore LG TV’s unless this issue is corrected.    The app simply states that “Internet is Not Accessible” and will not continue to load.  I don’t care if the internet is not available.  My local network IS available and is all that is needed.

Despite living in a world more connected than ever before, many people paradoxically feel a deeper sense of disconnection. As part of its ongoing efforts to understand that true fulfillment comes from genuine connections and reflecting LG’s commitment to expand “Life’s Good” in digital spaces, LG Electronics conducted a global survey to explore the state of connection in the digital age. The findings offer timely insight into the emotional disconnect often hidden behind the screens we interact with every day.

Conducted across the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, India and Canada, the survey gathered responses from 5,000 individuals between the ages of 18 and 45. It revealed that 68 percent of people find it more difficult to form real friendships and meaningful connections in today’s social media-driven world. The most common barriers include a lack of time, practical distance, and the fear of awkwardness—pointing to deeper issues beneath the surface of digital engagement.

Perhaps more concerning, 62 percent of participants reported spending more time online every week than engaging in deep, meaningful interactions with people. Furthermore, one in three respondents said they had experienced a meaningful connection only once or not at all in the past month.
And yet, the desire for more remains clear: 82 percent said they believe their lives would benefit from more meaningful connections, and 86 percent agreed such relationships help them view life more optimistically.

To counteract the disconnection often felt in an era dominated by superficial interactions, such as likes and comments on social media, LG launched “Radio Optimism,” a new brand campaign designed to spark genuine connection through the power of music. Inspired by the storytelling spirit of traditional radio, the campaign invites people to create one-of-a-kind AI-generated songs and share them with someone special. In doing so, LG is helping to turn digital interactions into heartfelt moments that build bridges instead of barriers.

The campaign reflects LG’s enduring brand promise—Life’s Good—and its belief that technology should serve not just our convenience, but our emotional well-being. In a time when many are scrolling past what really matters, LG is encouraging people to pause, reflect and reconnect.
The campaign website is available in English and Spanish, with plans to support additional languages to enable broader participation. The official campaign website can be found at
