LG Smart TV Users Receive 3-Month Free Trial for Apple Music, Celebrating
First Arrival of Apple Music’s Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos Available on TVs
SEOUL, May 2, 2024 — LG Electronics (LG) introduces a new and thrilling feature on its smart TVs for users who enjoy streaming music. LG Smart TVs, including OLED models and QNED models with Dolby Atmos®,1 are the first TVs to support Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos from Apple Music. Available starting this week, the trailblazing immersive music experience mesmerizes listeners with compelling sound and elevates audio pleasure to new heights.
To celebrate this remarkable milestone, LG is offering three months of Apple Music free to LG Smart TV users worldwide.2 The 3-month free trial is available within the Apple Music app of compatible LG Smart TVs (2018 models and later) running webOS 4.0 and higher, as well as lifestyle screen models StanbyME, StanbyME Go and MyView Smart Monitor.
Apple Music is an ad-free streaming service with a massive library that allows subscribers to listen to over 100 million songs and 30,000 expertly curated playlists. Apple Music also presents a range of exclusive content including Apple Music Live, a concert series featuring live video stream, a post-show video playback, live-recorded albums and exclusive pre-show artist interviews. Please add the ability to have eye comfort mode turn off / on at set times. (Similar to night shift on iPhone)
Or at least move the setting to an easier location to avoid digging through settings menus.
I turn it on every evening to stop the light effecting my circadian rhythm, then off when watching TV during the day and this would be very convenient.

I have an Onkyo TX-NR6050 connected to a LG OLED77C2PUA using a high speed HDMI cable.
When the TV is tuned on the Onkyo comes out of stand-by mode. The volume control on the LG remote is able to raise and lower volume control on the receiver. The LG has a connection to the Onkyo but the LG is not passing any data.
If the receiver is out of stand by mode (by either turning the receiver on first or turning the TV on --> off --> on) then there is a data connection and sound can be heard.
The issue seems to be in the timing of the handshake between the two devices. The LG has no problem turning on the onkyo but whether the data connection is established is based on the receiver being out of stand by mode first.
I tried everything found on line from changing HDMI connection type form Auto, PCM, and pass through. I have tried disabling the quick start from LG setup.
It is very annoying considering the amount of money invested into a setup that is suppose to be eARC 2.1. I should not have to use the home theater remote.
Any ideas?

I have accepted to update the TV firmware after being requeste many times by the menu. Big mistake!
After the update was finished the screen remains black, but the LCD screen is back lit so I can see it's started.
The magic remote has the microphone function and I can still search using the voice for youtube videos and the sound is playing.
o the TV is functional just I have a black screen
I tried after to run the update from USB after manually downloading this update: SW File(Version 05.30.11)

Any solution for me? Do I have to change the TV motherboard? I want a cheaper solution, not paying for a new motherboard in service.

No sound coming from av receiver when using apps on LG cx . I have CEC on Integra DRX 3.3 and simplink on the tv turned on. Sound is fine otherwise.
