at the time you need the alarm to go off, you can use third party apps like , or you can just .  Using a tool like Power Nap is great because it allows you to separate the volume level of the alarm from the ringtone volume of the phone. So even if the ringtone volume is set low, the alarm can still be very loud. However, if you want to set repeating alarms or at a time in the future and decide that the stock alarm functionality in the Clock app works for you, you may want to consider installing one of the Auto Set Clock Alarm Volume patchs from homebrew developer Djgardn2.

Available for webOS 2.1 and higher (including the TouchPad), there are three patches available that will force the ringtone volume to either the 50, 75 or 95 percent level when your alarm goes off, depending on which patch you have installed. With these patches, combined with the Clock preferences setting to still sound the alarm even if the physical ringer switch is set to off on phones or the Mute Sounds setting on the TouchPad is turned on, you will always ensure that you hear your alarm when it's going off.

I've had Universal Control via the smart remote sucessfully controlling the audio (volume) for my LG OLED 48C1LB tv via my Sherwood RD-6118R amp for a while now; But following a power cut, the remote no longer controls the amp/tv volume?
The audio IS still being played through the amp using the optical OUT/IN but I have no control of the volume
I've removed and re-initialised the settings for this amp in Universal Control Settings but following the "success" message, the remote does not control the volume on the amp/tv.
      What am I missing?

      Hi there,

I have an LG smart TV OLED65G36LA (LG OS v03.20.17, webOS TV version 8.20.0-710) , and the Prime Video App was no longer able to update (from Dec 2025) and therefore could no longer be used.
I have tried uninstalling the app and re-installing, and that was unable to work, so then applied a full reset on the LG TV and so had to reinstall all of my other apps (Apple TV, Netflix, etc etc) which all successfully downloaded so confirmed network connections and setup are all confirmed working.
When I try to download the Prime Video app, it remains stuck on the download screen and is unable to update.
      Thanks
