PreCentral: Install Auto Set Clock Alarm Volume patches

Recommended Posts

Auto Set Alarm volume patchesIf you need to set an alarm on your smartphone, there are quite a few ways to accomplish this task.  You can create a

at the time you need the alarm to go off, you can use third party apps like

.  Using a tool like Power Nap is great because it allows you to separate the volume level of the alarm from the ringtone volume of the phone. So even if the ringtone volume is set low, the alarm can still be very loud. However, if you want to set repeating alarms or at a time in the future and decide that the stock alarm functionality in the Clock app works for you, you may want to consider installing one of the Auto Set Clock Alarm Volume patchs from homebrew developer Djgardn2.

Available for webOS 2.1 and higher (including the TouchPad), there are three patches available that will force the ringtone volume to either the 50, 75 or 95 percent level when your alarm goes off, depending on which patch you have installed. With these patches, combined with the Clock preferences setting to still sound the alarm even if the physical ringer switch is set to off on phones or the Mute Sounds setting on the TouchPad is turned on, you will always ensure that you hear your alarm when it's going off.

      Dear All,
I'm new here hoping to find a solution to my problem, after now trying around for almost two days without any result.
      My set-up:
      - LG OLED55C97LA OLED TV
      - Nubert nuPro X-3000 (Pair of active speakers)
The active speakers are connected to the TV via HDMI-ARC on both sides. I'm aware that my configuration might be a bit unique, however I have the feeling that it is the TV / webOS which is messing arround with me.
After connecting my speakers to the HDMI-ARC, changing the TVs output to the HDMI 2 (ARC) is started the device configuration. I was glad, as typing in "Nubert" into the device selection of both "Home cinema system" or "Bluetooth / Soundbar", the webOS brought up a configuration to select.
During the "try-out" phase of the configuration process, turn on and off the power of the speakers works perfectly - even very fast! After configuration, sound comes through the speakers very well and I can adjust the volume. However, when I turn of the TV the speakers will remain on. Same vice versa when trying to turn everything on by only starting the TV.
Does anyone face a similar problem and might have a workaround for this? It is very frustrating and annoying, as it works perfectly in the configuration - but not later on.
      Thanks for your help!

Where are all of the free music apps?  LG App isnt much...please hlep

      Hi there,.
It is now clear that any  OS, except android and apple,  suffers from low number of apps.
It is a shame to struggle with a 'named smart tv' to run a Web site or find a commonly used app!

Ok! We are stuck with this rubbish OS (bad OS due to the poor App stoee) , why LG doesn't develop an adapter to run android TV apps on the TV? Maybe after testing them, you can allow certain famous apps. Moreover, why don't they provide an easy porting tool for the developer?
Anyway, if they don't do this, I would advise any one to buy an android TV and ignore the useless OSs such as Tiazen or Webos.
      Regards,
