The first lifestyle space, “Second Youth Home,” showcased a new and more active lifestyle for retirees. The digital signage on the wall visualized how ThinQ ON customizes and takes care of home appliances depending on the user. For example, after recognizing certain phrases like “tennis lesson” on the user’s calendar, ThinQ ON automatically sets the washer and dryer to its “Activewear course” via Smart Pairing.

The second lifestyle space, named “Smart Green Home,” showcased the ideal abode for families passionate about the environment and energy conservation. Among the many power-saving solutions on display, LG’s AI-enhanced Energy Storage System (ESS) analyzes energy usage patterns and weather forecasts to adjust its mode according to various conditions. Another highlight was the . With these devices – both inside and outside the home, connected to ThinQ ON – LG AI optimizes household energy usage in real-time and reduces energy bills by intelligently managing the power consumption of every connected device.

The next lifestyle space was the “Affectionate Home,” designed with children and pets in mind. It featured the company’s Self-Driving AI Home Hub, which can move freely around the home and interact with children through conversation. Its multi-modal sensing combines voice, sound and image recognition to change its expression according to various emotions, allowing it to respond to different situations with appropriate etiquette. The hub can move from room to room and control connected appliances and IoT devices, constantly making sure the environment is optimized for the little ones.

Not just a hub for home appliances, LG AI is an Affectionate Intelligence storyteller that boasts a deep level of emotional depth and understanding, enabling it to communicate and interact with users effectively. Through generative AI, the Self-Driving AI Home Hub can develop stories based on images drawn by the user, ensuring a unique bedtime story every night.

The next room demonstrated how LG appliances optimize the environment for pets and their owners. Once temperature and humidity sensors detect indoor air conditions, the LG DUALCOOL air conditioner can achieve the perfect temperature with airflow customized to suit the environment and personal preferences.

This zone also featured the AeroCat, a purifier designed specifically for cats. As every cat owner knows, cats love to sleep on devices and appliances. With this in mind, LG AeroCat can detect when a pet sits on top of it, stopping operation to provide a quiet place for a nap. And since weight can be an important indicator of heath, the AeroCat’s built-in weight sensor tracks the pet’s weight and alerts owners of any unusual changes via the ThinQ app.

“Delightful Home,” the final lifestyle space on display, presented a perfect setting for inviting and entertaining family and friends through a shared love of food. This zone highlighted LG AI’s ability to make cooking easier and quicker, with ThinQ ON providing menu recommendations and step-by-step instructions for numerous delicious dishes. Visitors could even learn some new skills by watching the “AI Talking Cooking Show,” a live cooking demonstration by chef Kristof Mulack, a culinary master who knows the best ways to customize LG’s AI appliances.

LG-at-IFA-10-600x318.jpg

To let visitors focus on the technology that makes all these lifestyle spaces possible, the company also set up the “LG Affectionate Intelligence” zone. This area effectively illustrated the connectivity and expandability of the Matter-certified LG ThinQ ON, engineered to help users manage their entire smart home with a single device.

LG also shined a light on its AI legacy with a special “AI to the Core” space. Using a transparent OLED display, the company explained how its Core Tech has evolved into LG AI core tech. This lineup includes revolutionary AI DD™ and AI DUAL Inverter™, both of which employ AI to enhance performance and deliver more precise control, resulting in new and improved levels of customer care and user experiences.

LG-at-IFA-12-600x400.jpg

The final zone by LG was none other than the “Sustainability Lounge,” which provided visitors with an overview of the company’s latest efforts to promote sustainable living. Here, visitors could relax while learning more about LG’s ESG activities, including its use of recycled plastics in select products.

As the title says, please fix ASAP playback of Profile 7 (FEL/MEL) inside Matroska (.mkv) container.

On WEB OS 24 it was working with backwards compatibility to HDR10 base layer - in other words the Dolby Vision was omitted.

Currently in WEBOS 25 the files won't work/play.

As LG started to support Profile 8 Dolby Vision from WEB OS 25 in MKV properly, this should be easy fix for LG.

CES Best of Innovation Award Winner Redefines
In-Vehicle Experience Powered by Affectionate Intelligence

SEOUL, Dec. 17, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) will unveil an immersive experiential space at CES 2026 that brings the company’s future mobility vision to life through Affectionate Intelligence. The exhibit invites visitors to experience firsthand how AI can reshape the driver, front-passenger and rear seating areas, reimagining the whole cabin as a more intuitive and human-centered space designed to enhance every ride.
This new series of solutions has earned the CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award in In-Vehicle Entertainment, marking the first time the LG Vehicle Solution Company has won the category’s top honor. The system brings together cutting-edge display technology, advanced in-cabin sensing, and on-device AI under a comprehensive AI-Defined Vehicle architecture.
The showcase features three core experiential solutions: the Mobility Display Solution, which transforms the windshield into an intelligent interface; the Automotive Vision Solution, which enhances safety and delivers context-aware information to the driver and front passenger via Vision AI; and the In-Vehicle Entertainment Solution, which provides personalized content recommendations, memory-based media and real-time translation.
In the Mobility Display Solution zone, visitors can experience how AI intuitively presents essential information through a transparent OLED-equipped windshield. For example, when approaching a traffic signal, AI displays the remaining wait time above the signal, selectively providing only the most relevant information at that moment. In autonomous driving mode, the system analyzes the surrounding environment and generates corresponding visual scenes: cherry blossom petals flutter across the display on tree-lined roads, while a monotonous tunnel transforms into an enchanting forest, creating an immersive, near-virtual-reality experience.
The Automotive Vision Solution is an advanced in-cabin sensing solution powered by LG’s Automotive Vision System, designed to enhance safety while enabling context-aware, empathetic interactions and personalized content delivery. The solution tracks driver movement, gaze direction, attention, clothing color and gestures in real time, allowing the system to understand and respond to the occupant’s state. Through eye tracking and gesture control, the system expands the range of interest-based information, while anamorphic display graphics heighten immersion and realism. For instance, in autonomous driving mode, if a front-seat passenger looks at an advertisement displayed on a building, gaze recognition can trigger related information on the passenger display, providing seamless product discovery and purchasing.
The In-Vehicle Entertainment Solution delivers personalized entertainment and interactive communication. By recognizing scenery outside the vehicle, AI can display photos linked to past memories associated with that location on the window display. Passengers can share these moments in real time through video calls with family members. During long journeys, AI recommends content tailored to individual tastes, providing entertainment that turns miles into moments. In another scenario, if a restaurant staff member communicates using sign language, AI interprets the gestures into on-screen text to support smooth, two-way communication.
“We are bringing our future mobility vision to life by embedding AI across our solutions – many of which, including in-cabin sensing, are already in production with global OEMs,” said Eun Seok-hyun, president of the LG Vehicle Solution Company. “By accelerating these innovations to market, we aim to pioneer the era of AI-driven vehicles in the years ahead.”
LG AI-Powered In-Vehicle Solutions will be on display at the company’s booth during CES 2026 from January 6-9 (#15004, Las Vegas Convention Center).

Across Asia, lifestyle changes are reshaping how people find comfort and care at home. Consumers are turning toward subscription-based living – a smarter and more flexible way to enjoy the latest home innovations.
LG Subscribe is leading this shift with premium products, expert maintenance services and flexible payment plans. From Singapore’s first experiential LG Subscribe Brand Store at Suntec City to Thailand’s rapid growth toward 20,000 subscribers in its first year, we are making more accessible living a reality.
Singapore: A New Era of Smart Living at Suntec City
On August 6, 2025, LG Singapore opened the doors to its first LG Subscribe Brand Store in Singapore at Suntec City – a space that celebrates our vision to make life easier through real solutions tailored to different lifestyles.

To kick off the event, Fabian Kunho Lee, Managing Director of LG Singapore, shared how LG Subscribe blends technology with accessibility and care to begin “a new chapter in customer experience.” After the classic ribbon-cutting ceremony, a vibrant lion dance performance set the tone for an auspicious and energetic start.

Media and key partners toured the experiential store, exploring appliances such as the LG Styler®, washing machines, refrigerators and air purifiers – all available through flexible subscription plans. Product specialists also introduced LG Careship, a routine maintenance service covered by a monthly fee, ensuring that every appliance performs at its best.

Beyond retail, the store is designed as a welcoming space for families. In September, LG Singapore hosted a special Children’s Day event, transforming the store into a lively playground filled with interactive games, creative workshops and sweet treats. This celebration marked the beginning of a series of weekend experiences that make family time part of the LG Subscribe journey.
Thailand: Celebrating One Year of Growth and Innovation
In Thailand, LG Subscribe has quickly become a leader in the home appliance subscription market since its launch in October 2024. LG Thailand surpassed 10,000 subscribers in just nine months and are on track to reach 20,000 as its first anniversary approaches.

To celebrate this success, LG Thailand recognized outstanding Lifestyle Planners (LPs) and Lifestyle Sales Managers (LSMs) at the 2025 LSM Awards in July. Their dedication and customer-first mindset have been key to the program’s rapid expansion. The subsidiary also launched LG Subscribe Friends, an influencer initiative that invites creators to share authentic stories about how subscription living enhances everyday life in Thailand.

LG Thailand has successfully expanded its service network to 50 areas nationwide. With three LG Subscribe Complex Centers already open in Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima and Hat Yai, it plans to increase the number to seven by year’s end. The next milestone is to broaden its product portfolio to 14 categories and 100 models – making it easier for every Thai household to enjoy the comfort, convenience and peace of mind that define the company’s Life’s Good promise.

LG Subscribe is redefining home living across Asia through flexibility, care and innovation. Whether through Singapore’s engaging in-store experiences or Thailand’s nationwide growth, we continue to show how our commitment to convenience and comfort makes Life’s Good – every day, everywhere.
