WP CentralWhile you will not typically hear complaints about the Wi-Fi on most webOS devices, the Pre3 seemed to take a step backward in the reliability of its wireless radio. In addition to a seemingly decreased W-Fi range, it also tends to not show all the available networks that are in range, even if they are

. This can be an extremely annoying bug that will cause your device to fail to connect to a known network, but it has an equally annoying (although relatively simple) fix. All you need to do is turn Wi-Fi off and then back on again, and all the wireless networks within range will show up again.

If you are a homebrewer, you can also install the "Cycle Wi-Fi in Device Menu" patch in Preware by GuyFromNam that will, not surprisingly, add a "Cycle Wi-Fi" option to the device menu to toggle your Wi-Fi off and then back on. This also appears to work alongside some of the Device Menu expansion patches such as Jason Robitaille's "Device Menu Megamix" patch.

On my LG 'smart' TV now for some reason I can now only watch the LG channels but not the fiber-optic programming on wi-fi . The HDMI 1 feed I normally use shows 'dark' on the Dashboard even though I can get the green checkmark on it. How do I reconnect it? The Dashboard shows my feed as ethernet/cable; which is wrong but efforts to correct it have failed so far.

I recently updated the firmware on my  LG43UH610V.  Now I constantly get "Wired Lan cable disconnected" / "Wired network is connected" messages even while watching a video file from my NAS. The TV is connected and using the network while getting these messages. It has always been on a fixed IP address on the LAN.

Title says it all.  Install a new 50 inch LG tv.  For every app and App Store it displays that message.  I have a great network and the TV is approx 30 feet from the wifi router.  It will play TV (not sure if that is coming over the air) and the phone app sees and can control the TV but not one app will work?
Any ideas or just return it?
      Thanks

Already tried turning the TV off and on and unplugging for 10 minutes.
There is no APPS tile in the horizontal tile row, so I can't load a third-party app like MLB.TV.
No luck with the WebOs tile, or the LG Content Store.
When I try the LG Content Store, and click on Apps inside that, I am only offered pre-loaded apps - 600 or so, but no MLB.TV.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
