The Spotify app may not be available on some LG TVs due to compatibility issues. The Spotify app is only compatible with LG smart TV models from 2016 or later, all of which run LG’s webOS. If you have an older model, such as the LG TV LF630V, which is from 2014, the Spotify app may not be supported.

In such cases, it's recommended to consider alternative methods to play Spotify on your TV, such as using

it may be due to the LG Tv model doesn't support Spotify app.

If so, you could better try another way.

I prefer to play Spotify music via a USB drive.

To do that, it is easy. I just use AudFree Spotify Music Converter to save Spotify music to USB drive for playing on LG TV.

      Problem: Spotify is laggy, stops occassionally and is basically a sub-prime experience.

      My LG TV is quite an old version, and I don’t even remember when it was purchased. Now I’m looking to replace it with a new one, preferably one that can connect to the internet. It would be even better if it could directly use Spotify. If your TV is the one I seek, please let me know the model. Right now, on my old TV, I can only download Spotify to computer separately and then transfer it to the TV using an MP3.
