  1. I did some more testing, if I do not use Netflix or Disney+ app that comes with the TV, the volume continues to work fine. One I starting using anyone of this app the remote for LG loses the ability to control Sonos Arc volume. I will be really surprise if I am the only one that encounter this error
  2. I have this LG OLEDXXCXPTA TV with Sonos for over 2 years. Except in the beginning where I have some issue with volume control with Sonos, it has been working fine. Recently I am encountering problem controlling volume with LG remote for my Sonos Arc. The only way I could get it back to work is to reset the LG TV to initial setup like what I have done 2 years + ago to regain volume control back with a new setup. However this time it seems to be different, I continue to lose volume control unexpectedly and I cannot see a trend. The latest being when I use the Netflix app to watch shows on my LG TV. Any suggest to resolve this? It is getting frustrating to keep resetting TV to initial setup so that I could use the remote for volume control.
  3. Thanks everyone for your suggestion. I was hoping not to use a media server to play my video files. Was hoping there would be a simple app like VLC or similar that I could just play from the TV. Seems like not possible, I will just use my notebook, project screen on TV and just play the video files from my NAS from there. Thanks again.
  4. I would like to play MP4 video file from my NAS, is this possible from LG Smart TV? I tried on the TV and did not see how I could do this, I also did not see any App that could help me in this area. My LG TV is connected to my home network so has direct access to my NAS.
  5. The eArc option seems to be off and if u turn it on, it might work. Else take a look at this post:
  6. Thanks it works for me. The steps I wish to emphaise is make sure you remove all connectors from the ports. Power off the TV and sound bar, starts off with the ARC connection first. My soundbar is from Sonos but I faced the same problem describe here.
