What Models of LG include ATSC 3.0 Tuners?

Question

Posted

I visited Best Buy asking which TV’s Included ATSC 3.0 Tuners.   The sales person stated that all Samsung Models did but only some High End Models of LG did.  When will all LG TV’s come with ATSC 3.0 Tuners?

So I guess my question has been answered.  The answer is none of them anymore.  Because LG thinks $6.75 is too much for ATSC 3.0.  So ok, I won’t be buying any LG TVs anymore.  See ya LG.

      Hi LG team,

We are facing playback issues on LG 2024 and 2025 tv models when we try to play AAC audio content. The content starts playing but after a few seconds it pauses. We have tried with WebOS native player as well as Shaka Player and the behavior is same. We can play the aac audio content on tv models older than 2024.
      Tv model used:
      LG -2025
      Model no - 43UA83006LA/2025
      Type- ultra HD/4kTv
      LG webOS- (10.3.1)

Proven In-Car Entertainment Solution Delivers Immersive Media Experiences and
Transforms New Kia Models Into “Living Spaces on Wheels”

SEOUL, July 16, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG), a leading innovator in mobility technology, announced that its webOS-based Automotive Content Platform (ACP) will power in-car streaming for Kia Corporation’s new European models. Debuting on the recently introduced EV3, the platform will also be extended to the upcoming EV4, EV5 and New Sportage. This marks an expansion of LG’s innovative in-car experience to the European market, following successful deployments in Korea.
LG’s ACP runs on the powerful and versatile webOS platform, which already powers over 240 million LG Smart TVs worldwide. Building on the TV platform’s proven reliability and intuitive user experience, the automotive-optimized webOS offers drivers and passengers instant access to a wide array of content and services, tailored specifically for the in-car environment.
As a core component of “LG AlphaWare,” the company’s comprehensive software-defined vehicle (SDV) solution suite, the ACP redefines the car as a true “living space on wheels.” The platform allows passengers to stream their favorite content directly on the vehicle’s infotainment display,* delivering an experience comparable to that of a smartphone or smart TV – while adhering to driving safety regulations.
Kia’s European model lineup will offer a diverse in-car entertainment experience, featuring popular content from platforms including Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, LG Channels, Baby Shark World for Kids, Stingray Karaoke, Play.Works, Haystack News and Vasari. Later this year, the content library will expand to include Rakuten TV, Napster and German OTT service Joyn. Available only when parked, these video streaming services let occupants turn the car into a private cinema – further enhancing the in-car media ecosystem.
“By bringing the webOS Automotive Content Platform to Kia’s European model lineup, we are making it easy for people to enjoy their favorite content wherever they go,” said Eun Seok-hyun, president of the LG Vehicle Solution Company. “LG remains committed to enhancing partnerships and expanding our content ecosystem to deliver premium in-vehicle entertainment and next-level connectivity.”

      Hi All,

i’ve got an OLED 55C1 with webOS 6.0 and a service remote in South America.

I’ve been able to find working area codes for almost all regions using the service remote based on previous posts and tables.

Of most use to me were:
Brazil: 26895 (local DTV transmission settings) /22800 (BR/US DTV transmission settings)
      US: 1843 / 1793 / 22287
      UK/EU/Turkey: 3122
      AU Australia: 767
      JP Japan: 23439
I’ve also found working codes for China (CN), Taiwan (TW), Hog Kong (HK), Philippines (PH), Australia, NZ & South Asia incl. India (AJ), certain African and Middle Eastern countries (JA or JA ME IL regions: note Israel is not an option even though IL appears in the code) , Canada (CA), Mexico (MX), Panama and Central America (PA), Ecuador (EC), Colombia (CO), Peru (PE), Chile (CL), and Argentina (AR).
      Notably absent were working codes for;
      Israel (IL)
      Korea (KR)
Russia and CIS countries (RU CIS)
      Eastern Europe (ETC?)
Does anyone know the working area option service codes for these countries?
I am mostly interested in working IL and KR codes.

      thank you so much!

Why Streamio isn't supported for older models? It's only supported for 2020+.
