If your LG TV is turning on with the LG logo but then goes blank and doesn't display anything, there could be a few potential reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check Connections: Ensure that all the cables connecting the TV to external devices (e.g., cable box, gaming console, DVD player) are securely plugged in. Also, check the power cable to ensure it's properly connected to both the TV and the power outlet.

  2. Power Cycle: Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power outlet. Wait for a minute or two, then plug it back in and try turning it on again. This power cycle can sometimes resolve temporary issues.

  3. Check Remote: If you are using a remote to turn on the TV, make sure the remote has fresh batteries and is functioning correctly. Try pressing the power button on the TV itself to see if it makes any difference.

  4. Try Different Input Source: Change the input source on your TV to see if the issue is related to a specific device or input. For example, switch from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 or try using the TV's built-in apps.

  5. Check Picture Settings: There might be an issue with the TV's picture settings. Access the TV's menu and check the picture settings, such as brightness, contrast, and backlight. Resetting these settings to default may help.

  6. Update Firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your TV. Visit LG's official website, find your TV model, and download the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to install the update on your TV.

  7. Perform a Factory Reset: If none of the above steps work, you can try performing a factory reset on your TV. Keep in mind that this will reset all settings and configurations to their default values, so make sure to back up any important settings or preferences.

  8. Contact LG Support: If the issue persists even after trying the above steps, it's best to contact LG customer support or a qualified technician for further assistance. They can help diagnose the problem and provide appropriate solutions.

It's essential to follow safety precautions while troubleshooting your TV, such as avoiding any electrical hazards and not attempting repairs if you are not familiar with electronics. If your TV is still under warranty, it's best to seek assistance from LG or an authorized service center to avoid voiding the warranty.

I have spent countless hours trying to figure out which remote is compatible with my 27 inch LG television. I can find the TV on LG's website (after intensively searching each time), but when I search the Magic Remotes for compatibility, I've had no luck in anything matching the two.
TV model is 27LQ625S-PU, purchased from Best Buy in America. I'm running 7.3.1-38 for webOS TV version. Trying to purchase one elsewhere online also seems to not have anything resembling my TV make/model.
I don't know what else to do in order to find a remote that works, and I don't want to spend the money trying ten remotes until finding one that does. Am I missing something through the site where I should be searching? Do all remotes work based on webOS version? I'd really love to upgrade this mostly useless remote. I don't use it much right now because I don't like typing through the on-screen keyboard and the remote that came with the TV isn't as easy to use as a universal (I think some of the buttons are in oddly located places). I tend to use external smart devices because the (dumb) remote/webOS don't seem to pair together very well.
I appreciate any help you guys are able to offer, and apologize if this seems like a foolish question.

My magic remote and my Roku remote stopped working for turning off power so I performed a factory reset after troubleshooting to get the remote working.  I am now stuck at the 1st screen of the Factory Reset which says "Press the OK Button(wheel) on your remote."  Well... this really stinks because the remote doesn't work!!!  I have tried a USB mouse, a new magic remote, other LG Remotes with no luck.  I have also tried using the button on the bottom of the tv.  And, I contacted support which was just an exercise in redoing everything I had already tried... No Luck!!
This is a Nano Cell 55NANO81ANA which is basically just a big brick now since I cannot even use any of the inputs.  Does anyone have a trick for getting past this initial screen???
      Thanks for the help.

I output the sound from my LG 75UJ657A to external speakers through a bluetooth connection, but it doesn't automatically connect to the bluetooth device when I turn the TV on. Whenever I cycle the TV off and, then, back on, the TV asks if I want to connect to the bluetooth device, and I have to select "yes" with the remote. My smart phone automatically connects to all the bluetooth devices I've set it up with. When I start my car, my phone connects automatically to the car stereo/phone system, and it does the same with other bluetooth speakers I have. This is what I want my TV to do.
How do I get my LG 75UJ657A to automatically connect to the bluetooth device I've set up with it?
