Hello, I know that other LG WebOS users have the same problem as me, but I can't find a solution on the web.
Perhaps one of you experts can help me.
Shortly: manually sort the app icons on my LG Smart TV (OLED77C55LA) and place the “TV Channels” icon in the first position (on the left, to be clear). Before all the others (e.g. Netflix, PlutoTV, Prime, etc.), but when I turn off the TV for a few hours and turn it back on, I find the “TV Channels” icon in last position.
I have tried putting it in second position, third position and so on, but every time I turn it back on, I find it in last position.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you.

I have a Roku device attached to my LG TV model # 55UQ7570PUJ. As I’m watching something on the Roku and using my Roku remote, every now and then something that I press on that Roku remote brings up the LG ‘Select a menu item’ screenwhere AV Reset is highlighted. Any idea what could be happening here? One clue: after I press the undo button on the LG remote to get rid of that window, I find that the volume is all the way down. Maybe I’m hitting the Roku remote’s Mute button in some weird way and that brings up the ‘Select a menu item’ window?
It’s surprising that something I press on the Roku remote brings up an LG dialog, but that’s what’s happening. Thanks for any help.

I have an optical plugged into a hearing aid box. I also have an LG S95QR sound bar plugged into the eARC.
Works fine in eARC. When I try to select the optical + TV option for output, it switches over ok for about .5 seconds, then automatically switches back to the eARC output without me doing it.
Does anyone know what it might do this? Why can't I change my output if I so choose?

Hi all,
I'm wondering how you can get into the service menu (In Start) on an old LG Smart TV (42LB630V) running WebOS 1.4. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) with a IR blaster, I have tried sending '0x04FB 0xFB04' to I which should be IR code to enter the menu, but that doesn't work.
I have also tried entering it with the SSAP-Web, but I get:
error: 500 Application error {"errorCode":-101,"returnValue":false,"errorText":"\"com.webos.app.factorywin\" was not found OR Unsupported Application Type" The SAPP-Web app does works though, because the TV does respond to Get info
{ "returnValue": true, "product_name": "webOS", "model_name": "HE_DTV_WT1M_AFAAABAA", "sw_type": "FIRMWARE", "major_ver": "05", "minor_ver": "05.90", "country": "omitted", "device_id": "omitted", "auth_flag": "N", "ignore_disable": "N", "eco_info": "01", "config_key": "00", "language_code": "en-GB" } The reason I want to access the menu is because I've enabled DEBUG mode on my TV through the NVM method and I want to enter a root shell trough UART to enable SSH and root access.
Gaining root access through NVM:

Hello
I keep getting this bar ( see below ) about twice a week. It doesn't require me to do something as far as I can tell. When I close it it disappears only to pop-up again two days later.
Am I supposed to do something ? If not how do I get rid of it ? It is very annoying.
My tv isn't the latest model. LG webOS TV UM 7100PLB
