Log in error

hans peter

Question

I get this message when trying to log in too the CMore-site from my smart-TV LG 32LM6300PLA with the programversion 05.30.11:

An error occured, please make shure your browser is updated to the latest version and try again. We support recent versions of Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Edge. If you still experience problems accessing the site using a recent browser please contact support for TV & Play.

Who is We and who is support for TV & Play?

Has anyone an idea of what I have to do? Either with the TV itself, its webOS-browser or perhaps with the site CMore? Or can lead me in the right direction?

/hans peter

I received this explanation from LG Electronics.

In short, CMore's website does not support our browser and therefore it is not possible to log in and stream via it.

Unfortunately, the browser in the TV is not fully adapted for streaming, and many streaming websites are not adapted for our browser. There's not much we at LG can do about it. For streaming, we always refer instead to the apps that are available to download or are pre-installed. To download apps, you can then do it via the home screen and then among the apps select "Apps" and then there in the app store, you can then search for the app.
If you have experienced that it has worked before, it is because all the data storage was not there before and in the long run this causes an overload the more you stream.

If you are missing apps from the range, it is because the company or service provider has not chosen to develop an app for our platform. If you have comments on this, I recommend that you contact the respective company and draw attention to your dissatisfaction about this and hopefully push for them to develop an app in the future. LG Electronics Norden obviously also works to get the companies to develop the most requested services/apps for our platform.
Currently, I personally recommend getting a Chromecast, Apple TV or hooking up a computer for a wider range of streaming and service

Initially would search and find 3 networks (Testra Air, the correct one and one other??) but would not connect.
Reset our router (turn off then turned on again  and waited) but now no networks are even found to attempt to connect to.
Any suggestions what my next step should be?  This has happened suddenly.  Thanks

I have an LG65UR80006LJ and when I plug my portable hard drive in to one of the USB ports, it lights up and sometimes the thumbnail folder gets added by the TV (I can see it when I plug the drive back into my PC) and twice now it has operated as expected and it appears as a device on the media app.
But it has only worked correctly twice and now doesn't find the drive at all, despite me having reformatted it and only add one file to the root directory (the first page if this makes sense; not buried in sub folders.)
Before I box the TV back up and send it back, is there anything else I need/can do as my 12 year old Philips smart tv has no problems what so ever finding the drive and playing the media on it?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I've bought OLED55CX3LA and have screenshare errors ever since.
I'm using Dell machine with Windows 10 onboard.
Almost every time I try to connect using "connect with remote screen" windows option, I get the pop up that
      only with cancel button.

Sometimes there is approval button but mostly I have only "cancel" option.
Have this error on OLED55CX3LA and one older model. Same behavior.

Mobile screen sharing working perfectly fine.

      How to fix it?
I've cleared the connection history but without any success.
Not sure if I should put it on warranty or if there is some simple fix?
