Keep getting error when trying to accept agreements

DaniS

Question

I reset my location which in turn made me have to accept the terms and conditions however every time I try to load them it tells me I have to download them to which I say okay but then it tells me there’s an error and I can’t download them. I haven’t been able to use my apps or anything for two hours. I reset by tv completely and it still won’t let me. Pls help

Change DNS on TV to 8.8.8.8 (not sure that this is required but this and below worked for me)

Disconnect Ethernet cable (if any), use phone as a Hotspot (wifi) and you should be able to download and accept agreements. If phone is using network router/modem and ISP (do not know if this is possible then make sure that phone is using data and not location network). After setup connect to local network instead of phone. Complete installation including loading other apps that may need setup. Reconnect phone hotspot if any of these are an issue. Once setup you will not need phone as hotspot.

Once things are working OK if you have issues with smart functions, restart you modem/router. My TV would use its web browser fine but would not download agreement and acted like a server was down.

This likely will not help original poster but hope that others find this. It worked on my OLED65C1.

      Hello,
I have a problem with my new LG OLED G2 newest version 4 firmware.
I tried sorting my satellite channels with chansort programm from github, because sorting them with the tv remote is a pain.
When I try to sort them with the remote and have selected about 10 or more channels all the selected channels get suddenly getting deselected, so I can only select up to 10 at a time  to
sort them -> must be some kind of firmwarebug?
After exporting the channellist to a usb stick then editing it with chansort an importing it back into the tv all my channels are gone, all transponderns are deleted.
First I thought it was a charsort problem but all channels and transponders get also deleted when I simply export them to a usb drive an import them back, without editing the file at all.
Does someone know how to fix this problem?
And yes I´ve done multiple factory resets -> did not fix any of this behaviour.
I also discoverd another bug the deletes all channels, because I needed to reboot the tv I searched for a reboot option in the tvs menu, but there is no reboot option.
To do a full reboot (except from forcing it through cutting the tvs power) you can deselect the privicy agreements, after that the tv reboots, but then all channels are gone too.

Initially would search and find 3 networks (Testra Air, the correct one and one other??) but would not connect.
Reset our router (turn off then turned on again  and waited) but now no networks are even found to attempt to connect to.
Any suggestions what my next step should be?  This has happened suddenly.  Thanks

I have an LG65UR80006LJ and when I plug my portable hard drive in to one of the USB ports, it lights up and sometimes the thumbnail folder gets added by the TV (I can see it when I plug the drive back into my PC) and twice now it has operated as expected and it appears as a device on the media app.
But it has only worked correctly twice and now doesn't find the drive at all, despite me having reformatted it and only add one file to the root directory (the first page if this makes sense; not buried in sub folders.)
Before I box the TV back up and send it back, is there anything else I need/can do as my 12 year old Philips smart tv has no problems what so ever finding the drive and playing the media on it?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I have recently purchased an LG 43UH610T television.  I am located in Bali, Indonesia.  Everything seems to be working fine, but when I click on any of the options, such as LGTV, YouTube etc, it tells me I must first consent to the LG Smart TV user agreement.  However, I then get a message saying "Unable to load user agreements - a server error has occurred ......"
      Can you help?
