Light pink violet vertical band and patches

JM01

Question

I have 43UJ701V smart tv, purchased late 2017. Recently noticed very light coloured vertical band 100mm wide or so on left of screen with a couple of coloured patches near left corners. Most noticeable when displaying a white test screen.  Anyone with similar experience ?

Yes, to me. I suppose some LEDs on the rear panel are failing. They already changed the upper part of the panel due to lack of luminosity, a week after the end of the warranty ...

When will the 4.0 update be available for my 2016-17 LG Smart TV?  I just got Alexa and can't use it for the TV unless it has the 4.0 version.  Model #70UH6350-UB.

I noticed since the last update of WebOS, it defaults to a screen with apps along the bottom rather than HDMI1 as before on startup.  Even after going into the input settings and selecting HDMI1, it stills defaults to the other screen on startup.  When selecting HDMI1 on the inputs screen, it has a red dot in the corner, which I would assumes means that's the selected default.  But again, this seems to be ignored this on startup.
      Thanks.
