Connect to remote NAS via webdav or SMB

Recommended Posts

I am not sure if this helps what you are trying to do, but most NAS software allows you to setup a media server.  This would be visible to LG TV on you local network.  Also some NAS software allows you to setup a Plex Server which would be visible through the Plex app on your TV.  If it is videos, pictures, etc., it is a well designed interface for that.  Like, if you ripped your own blue ray or something, it automatically finds the descriptions, name, cast, artwork, etc, and it shows up in your library ... that works for TV shows that you record too.  You have to have a decent network and a decent NAS, but it is pretty nice.

I can't connect  my LG ThinQ app to Google Home app.
When I try I'm 'told' that no compatible appliance is found.
But my tv, the LG Web OS TV  UM7100PLB ( 2019 ), is in the LG ThinQ app. I even reinstalled it.
This probably is not a new subject, but, if this question has ever been answered, I can't find a solution.
Is my TV too old ?

Hi, I have recently purchased the 55UT73006LA series TV and wanted to know if any magic remote will work with this TV? If yes, please let me know which one(s), as I don’t really have knowledge on what works with what.

      Thanks!

On my magic remote the red button is for ziggo interactive tv. Ziggo is a dutch provider and used by nearly half internet users in the netherlands.
But LG has programmed that button for Ziggo and we are living in a part where we have no Ziggo but another provider. Like more users here.
LG (benelux) says it is not possible to change it. So all LG tellys sold in netherlands have Ziggo under the red button.
But I think in Belgium (also LG benelux) they must have another choice because there is NO Ziggo provider in Belgium.
I searched for a hack about it, but did not find something.

      Greetings
      Chris

I purchased MR23GN and while most of the functions seem to work ok, the message of "Remote not supported by this TV" keeps popping up.
