@peter shaky 73 It would be usful to know the LG TV model.

When you state "my fibre optic cable is allowing my devices onto the WiFi" I assume you are talking about your Home Router, that will create and control your WiFi environment? These are usually connected to your Fibre (FTTH) modem via the WAN port on your router, using a standard Ethernet Cable.

Do you by any chance have an Ethernet (LAN) cable connected to the TV? Has WiFi ever worked on this TV? Has anything changed?

      I recently bought an LG UK6500PLA TV (my first LG), but I have a difficult time streaming content (Wifi connected), e.g. Netflix series is streaming in low resolution.  The router is only 10 feet away from TV (but ethernet is not an option) and uses a 5GH frequency range.
      I have tried making a speed test at fast.com, for both the TV (through the Webbrowser) and for my laptop and iPhone. The speed test for TV showed 2.5 Mbps and my laptop and iPhone showed 110 Mbps. Can there really be such a big difference? I am starting to wonder if this might be a warranty issue?
      Do any of you guys have experience with bad Wifi reception on your LG TV or have any suggestions on how to fix it?

      so i have router and hotspot from mobile phone, 
      If i want to change wifi connection, my tv keep asking the password, eventho it has been connected before.

      New LG 55" C4,  Magic Remote STB setup does not provide for Charter/Spectrum Arius STB model DCX3220? This is a current model STB and previous LG models did provide MR setup for this model.

      Issue configuring IR based control, and optical audio soundbar

      Apparently, the LG model OLED55CSPUA has an issue with the external device power on/off control. I can configure the IR Bose soundbar well enough, as setup sequence tests it good to control soundbar power. but after exiting the setup, when i press the external device power button on the remote, the TV just wants to cycle through the setup again.  It doesn't toggle soundbar power, just cycles back to the setup.   i have tried factory settings reset and verified that there are no other devices on the TV.
