Aspect Ratio problems

Hi All....
I use SS-IPTV player on an LG TV running Webos 5.2.0: I can't change the display format (16:9, 4:3, original, zoom, etc.): I need it because 
some channels are shown with the zoom (so a part of the image is not visible) or in 4:3, (leaving huge black bands on the sides), while I
I would like to set them to 16:9, which I actually do... but it has no effect. I also tryed to use other iptv players for testing, but I have 
the same problem... I couldn't solve ....
Maybe it's a not very compatible version of webos? (I use the same ss-iptv on another old tv with webos 3.8.0 and everything works perfectly, 
(indeed, in that case I don't even need to change aspect ratio because all channels are perfectly displayed in 16:9)
has anyone had the same problem or know how to fix it? or the attempts I could make?

@Montino Have you reported this to your country LG support directly? This is only a peer-to-peer enthusiasts forum, and has no direct reporting to LG itself.

It may be a buggy app/player, so they might not be aware.

      I really love lg tvs hence I now own 3 but what I can’t get past that drives me crazy is any remote turns all tvs on of change Chanel etc and when I’m watching something and the wife changes channel in kitchen tv and the lounge tv chance drives me crazy I’ve unpaired and repaired individually and it still has the same problem

      YouTube app problems, please help!

      I recently bought a 50NANO90A6B TV and so far I have to say it's a fantastic upgrade from my old Sony 40".
      However, I've one small niggle problem (only had the TV since Sunday)... The YouTube app doesn't seem to want to work! it shows the logo with a spinny circle, then the logo starts again with the spinny circle... this just repeats over and over.
      All other apps (iPlayer, Jellyfin, Plex, ITV, CH4 etc...) work as does the LGTV app, so the WiFi connection is fine!
      I've uninstalled and reinstalled the YouTube app a few times, but it does the same each time!
      Anyone know how I can sort this? any other suggestions for fixing it!
      I'm currently using my Chromecast with GoogleTV for YouTube at the moment.
      I'm in the UK by the way! And the TV is set to that, in all the relevant settings locations.

      We are able to EDIT some of the functions that are in the initial SETTINGS screen.  However other functions that are layers deep into the settings are unable to be dragged/dropped into that EDIT function. Like ASPECT RATIO. To get to that feature requires a long list of clicking things. It is a function that we use a LOT in order to prevent screen burn-in on these OLED screens. (to be able to watch a channel for extended period of time that happens to have that stupid LOGO or "crawl" along the bottom. Like CNN or MSNBC).

      Just got a new 55in C4 and a Denon DHT-S316 Soundbar. With my very old LG I like to have the TV connected to the speakers during the day and in the evenings I would switch to bluetooth headphones. I could easily turn off my headphones and switch back to the optical sound output with no issues.
      However I tried this and while I connected my headphones with no issues, once I disconnected I couldn't get the sound to come back through the sound bar without having to with the TV and sound bar off which feels crazy at this point in time and the cost of the TV when my very old LG did this with now issues.
       
      Any suggestions much welcomed.

      DLNA client problems since last update

      Since the last webos update to 3.40.87, I find I have to completely power cycle the TV (a G1 65" OLED) every week or so to get the DLNA client back to functioning properly. I have a media server running Serviio on a Raspberry Pi, and I periodically get one of the following two problems, both of which are fixed by completely power-cycling the TV.
      When I'm using the DLNA client to select videos from the server, I get no response from trying to select a video or series using the remote. The remote continues to work fine when used with other apps (eg Netflix, Stan etc) on the TV. When the DLNA client is playing a video from the server, the audio is delayed by a couple of seconds from the video. At the time that the TV is showing either of these problems, I can access the media server using either BubbleUPnP on my phone or VLC on my PC, and neither of them have any problem either selecting videos or playing them back with the audio synced with the video, so the problem is clearly with the TV, and power-cycling the TV gets rid of whichever problem is manifesting itself.
