Life In A Day 2020 debuted on YouTube on February 6, when it also became available on the YouTube app on smart TVs including LG’s award-winning LG OLED TVs. The feature-length documentary is a collaboration between YouTube and LG Electronics and is composed entirely of selected contributions from people around the world who filmed their day on July 25, 2020.

Ten years after the original Life In A Day, YouTube and the filmmakers asked people all over the world to record their lives to tell the story of a single day on Earth. The filmmakers received more than 300,000 submissions, nearly four times the number of submissions to the previous film, which includes thousands of hours of footage from 192 different countries, in more than 65 languages.

Directed by Academy Award-winning director Kevin MacDonald (The Mauritanian, One Day in September, The Last King of Scotland), and executive produced by Ridley Scott (The Martian, Gladiator) and Kai Hsiung (Lords of Chaos), Life In A Day 2020 aims to showcase just how extraordinary life can be on an ordinary day.

“We are proud to collaborate with YouTube to feature this incredible and moving documentary live in Times Square on our LG digital billboard,’ said Peggy Ang, head of marketing at LG USA. “We hope visitors to Times Square will take a moment in their own daily life on February 8 to watch a part of Life In A Day and then enjoy its full impact at home with their families on an LG OLED TV.”

The youtube app on WebOS has a gear icon that's labeled "settings", used to toggle the speed normally to 1.25x, 1.5x, etc. It stopped working about 3 days ago, when clicking on the gear icon nothing happens. I've hard reset the tv, ive deleted and reinstalled youtube app, tried messing with DNS. nothing works. Seems to be a bug, likely a result of some update in backend, should be trivial to fix. But tried calling LG about it and went nowhere with their help desk.

Has anyone else had the same problem as me regarding the 'like' button on the YouTube app on my Oled77g7v? There is a thumbs up button and a thumbs down button for each video. These icons are supposed to be just an outline unless you click on them and then they fill in to show you have selected them. However, this no longer works on my TV. It is as if you never clicked. In fact, the 'like' icon is always pre_filled, no matter what I do. This used to work properly and it still works correctly on a Sony TV I have. Any ideas would be very welcome!

      Hi,
I have my LG 4K Smart TV -Model : 43UJ632T.
I could not able to use the Wireless Keyboard ( Logitech K230) with Builtin Apps like Youtube, Amazon Prime or in Netflix to search. I could able to use only thru Magic Remote.
But the same Keyboard is working fine in Google Movies & SunNXT apps.
Could you please help me in fixing the same.
      Thanks,
      Sriram.

LG Singapore recently hit another important milestone with the opening of the LG Life’s Good Experience Zone. Officially launched in January in collaboration with leading Australian retailer Harvey Norman, this first-of-its-kind space showcases how LG’s latest smart products seamlessly integrate into, transform and revolutionize practically any space. Visitors to the zone can expect to be treated to a first-hand experience of the interconnected world LG’s innovations create.

The celebrations began with a ribbon cutting ceremony where Gerald Chun, managing director at LG Singapore, and Bernice Kwok, chief operating officer at Harvey Norman Singapore, used golden scissors to officially open the space to the people of Singapore and the world.

As part of the celebrations, a team of red lion dancers performed a captivating routine to bring good fortune and wealth to the new space. Afterwards, Gerald Chun and Bernice Kwok were presented with a pair of traditional blessings as a gesture of long-lasting prosperity.

The special guests were then ushered through the showroom on a private tour conducted by LG Singapore’s insightful product team, giving them the very first look at the Life’s Good Experiential Zone and their first experience of how their lifestyle could evolve to the next level as LG’s appliances work in unison with the LG ThinQ app.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Harvey Norman to introduce Singapore’s first-ever LG shop-in-shop experience zone, a significant milestone that demonstrates our commitment to innovating shopping experiences,” said Gerald Chun, managing director at LG Singapore. “As visitors witness the debut of various LG products in Singapore, our commitment to innovation is on full display.
