Purchased LG UN 73 UHD model.

Able to pair bluetooth peripheral to LG TV.  LG TV won't reconnect bluetooth peripheral automatically. The user needs to click bluetooth peripheral on LG TV.

This is basic features, all smartphone are supposed auto connect bluetooth peripheral.

Contacted LG TV customer support, they does not have information for my issues

@Vijay Kumbhani You have not posted what the "peripheral" actually is. If it is a soundbar, please check that it has the latest firmware. If it is an LG soundbar, of the type mentioned in the LG article below, you might need to update its firmware, as this adds better security to the pairing process anyway, and MIGHT fix the issue if it is one of those.

Actually, I have seen a post that says that ONLY LG sound-bars will autoconnect!! Check this anyway:

If not,go to the manufacturers support site for the peripheral in question, and check it has the latest firmware.  I am assuming that your LG TV has the latest WebOS and firmware?

Hi

Sorry for not updating peripheral. i am using Sony 4.1 Bluetooth sound system.  that is wrong if LG tv support auto connect for LG sound bar. this is non ethical.

Checked also latest update, it is already in Web OS latest firmware.  BTW  I also factory reset Tv. it won't help

@Vijay Kumbhani Is that Sony device the Sony SA-D40 4.1 Channel Multimedia Speaker System? If so, it shows it connecting to the TV via the Headphone socket on the TV to the Sony, via the supplied Stereo Mini-Plug lead (to the input socket above the power socket).  On some LG (and other) TV models, you have to go to the sound settings, and tell the TV to ONLY use the headphone out jack, but on others it is automatic (i.e. there is a contact inside the jack that detects that a "device" (phones or an amp) is connected, do disables the internal TV speakers).

Yes, this is sony 4.1 sound system. LG UN 73 tv is not supported RCA and 3.5 headphone jack.

It is supported only HDMI ARC and Optic Audio.

There is one solution, I need buy converter digital audio to analog ( HDMI ARC/Optical to RCA/3.5 headphone jack)

It would be great if LG will support from SW side.

I have a LG 65QNED92AUA tv that has issues with the Bluetooth connection dropping off when connected to my earbuds. I believe the issue to be software related. LG has sent 2 technicians out to repair and the first technician changed the main board and Bluetooth transmitter which did not resolve the issue.
There are similar issues with Bluetooth Connection from others.
Since hardware replacement didn’t help and this is a known software-pattern issue, I would like push LG to specifically address it at the firmware/webOS level. I am unable to escalate to their software team and check if there’s a known patch or beta firmware for the QNED92 line.
For some reason this line of questioning is not available with in LG customer service.
       Please help!

      Hi,
I have a OLED77C34LA and a pair Bose QC32 II headphones and I have trouble connecting to the tv.
First the headphones works good on my other three devices but the TV has trouble, when I manage to connect they work perfect but when I turn the off on on again the headphones will say they are connected to the TV but the TV most of the time won't give me an option to connect and I remember I got a popup asking if I wanted the use the headphones as output but only for like 3-4 times so far.
Usually I have to plug the power out of the TV for a while and remove the bluetooth device but and it doesn't always work. It's not great spending like 15min to get the headphones to work.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Hi, I have a feature request for the sound out setting. I often connect my Bluetooth headphones to the TV. We don't use the internal speaker of the TV, we use the optical sound out setting whenever I don't use Bluetooth. It would make our lives a lot easier if the TV can remember the last sound out setting before connecting to Bluetooth and default back to this setting when the Bluetooth device gets disconnected. At the moment, each time I disconnect the headphones I have to go back into settings and change the sound out setting from internal speaker to optical again.
      Thanks and regards

      hi, Friends,

i have finally fixed the HDMI ARC issue.
Apparently some people also had the same issue and couldnt figure out whats wrong.
After reading through AVSForums, I finally understood that LG had a bug in HDMI operation as well..

The problem happens when your TV is already sending sound through HDMI ARC to a AVR and you try to connect additional sources like dth or blueray player to additional HDMI ports of TV and AVR. Once you add additional sources, you might try to use LG's device connector setting to control the device and this is where HDMI ARC stops working.

      Solution:
disconnect all hdmi ports of TV and AVR.
      Full reset TV and AVR.
Only Connect HDMI ARC port of TV with HDMI ARC OUT of AVR. Enable ARC feature on both TV and AVR. Open LG TV internal app,
and check if sound is coming properly to AVR.
Now you Connect All additional sources to other HDMI ports of TV and nothing should be connected to AVR.
You may use LG device connector setting to configure the magic remote to control them.

      MY current setup of TV:
      HDMI 1: Airtel DTH.
HDMI 2: ARC connected to Denon AVR 1500H.
HDMI 3: ACT Television(Using this to play hotstar premium content as LG inbuilt APP is not playing it)

      Good news:
LG magic remote can control all 3 devices seamlessly and thats a great ease for customers.
I shall appreciate LG for this.

We're considering a new 77" LG OLED, and we cannot find an answer to this anywhere. Is it possible to use both an external soundbar (connected either with Optical or eARC) AND Bluetooth hearing aids at the same time, or is it limited to the TV's internal speakers and Bluetooth?
