LG OLED55CX6LA audio dropout, and Amazon prime video crashing

ricecooker

Question

This is a brand new set, first 2 days was fine. Today after an update, I would play a youtube video and audio drops out totally after around 5 mins in. Video still plays, just no audio. Also happens when watching amazon prime. Also sometimes on amazon prime it just crashes and brings me to HDMI 4 screen (I got a nintendo switch plugged in there, but not turned on). It's frustrating to say the least, could someone please help me with this?

@ricecooker Was the update a WebOS/firmware update, or an Amazon APP update, or another app? Also, remove any other connected device temporarily for testing that you do not need (especially the one connected to HDMI4), then re-test the issue. If it was after the Amazon APP update, it could just be a buggy update.

I have a couple of LG OLEDs in shared spaces, with external speakers, one via optical and the other via analog jack (confusingly named headphones). Whenever bluetooth headphones are used and then disconnected, the TV reverts to "internal" terrible audio. For non-technical people this is permanent. Do I have to train everyone to select the device from the long list or can I set a default?

      Hi,
I have my LG 4K Smart TV -Model : 43UJ632T.
I could not able to use the Wireless Keyboard ( Logitech K230) with Builtin Apps like Youtube, Amazon Prime or in Netflix to search. I could able to use only thru Magic Remote.
But the same Keyboard is working fine in Google Movies & SunNXT apps.
Could you please help me in fixing the same.
      Thanks,
      Sriram.

Hey, I have 3 NAS (DLNA) successfully connected to my OLED65C97LA since months and from one day to another all three have the same issue. So I must be a bug in LG TV? But I do not know what to do?
      - I can click on all 3 DLNA and its open a choice box for "music" or "image and video".
      - Click on all 3 DLNA for "music" and I get access to this DLNA and see my music files and can play it.
      - Click on all 3 DLNA für "image and video" and I get now only a black screen. I can move the cursor and open menus, but DLNA is black.
Am I the only one with this problem?

LG WebOS should be able to play mkv files with TrueHD audio codec format
