HI, I purchased 43UF770T-TA 3 years ago in hope that LG will update the software, but I have not seen any proper update. I have 04.05.85 software version of webos 2. The youtube application is pathetic, no airplay support, no proper browser, also do not suupport keyboard input and need to click the onscreen keyboard letter by letter to enter anything. Please fulfill my wish and provide proper software update to 43UF770T-TA so that at least youtube and browser works properly. If airplay is also integrated then it will be super. Thanks. Shankar K.

I have the same problem with this TV which I purchased in 2016 but it doesn't support Bluetooth headset of other brands. There is no sorting option on YouTube which is really awful. It shows random videos from current and previous many years when something is searched and there is no Hotstar Disney+ etc. There is no update after

      This is for all that have LG monitors with the latest software that changed UI settings for GAME OPTIMIZER
      I could not find this anywhere on the internet for an update on what happened to the compatibility modes for DisplayPort/HDMI. Everything is outdated.
      Apparently LG updated their UI and MOVED the option for compatibility modes to disable DSC. This USED to be in the common GENERAL tab, but NO LG moved it to the External Devices, which makes no sense as it should be with the common general menu.
      I'm not sure if this is a bug or an oversight, but here it is
      SETTINGS BUTTON > GENERAL > EXTERNAL DEVICES > INPUT COMPATIBILITY
      Why would you disable DSC, you ask?
      Well, if you don't disable this mode, you will not be able to use scaling factors like DSR on NVIDIA. I have seen remarks about AMD being able to use it without this option turned off, but for NVIDIA they are behind on this.
      This WILL disable high frame rates beyond 144 Hz for the trade-off, but you will be able to scale your resolution higher.

      The LG internet browser is out of date. 
       I get that error message with many sites.

      Hi all, hoping for some expert help.
      TV: LG 65QNED86T6A.ADKFLJD (Russia-market unit, now in Iran), S/W 33.31.68.01 (webOS25), 2024 build.
      Location settings only show CIS/Russian-speaking countries.
      Using an original Factory SVC Remocon (WK-17226), both IN START and ADJ (code 0413) lead to the same SVC menu.
      Current Area Option values: Area Code 3638 / Continent Index 54 / Language&Country CS / HW Settings EU.
      I've tried entering various Area Option codes (adjacent blocks 3712/3840/3968, and legacy ME/CIS codes from older webOS threads) — all rejected with an error. Continent Index / Language&Country / HW Settings appear to be read-only/derived fields, not directly editable.
      Has anyone successfully changed the Area Option on a 2024-model webOS25 QNED TV? Any known working codes or is this generation's SVC menu fully locked without RTOOL/GSDF access?

      It is unprofessional on part of LG TV that they do not resolve the basic issue of adding app gCmob in their app store.
      My 50UT80506LA LG WebOs TV does not support my office security camera system via wifi to TV.  We need (gCmob app) in list of app.
      I can't connect my office camera via Wi-Fi to LG-TV. No body in LG TV technical team is proactive in resolving the issue of customer. They are more happy to befool the customers, rather than looking for technical solution through wider thinking.
      Please talk to you top management and make a visit to our office to understand the customers plight..
      Please respond to customers needs.

      Since my lg-oled65c9pla auto-updated to WebOS 5.5, there is a new bug.
      The TV is connected to my Cambridge Audio Evo 75 amplifier over ARC - on powering the TV, it has always started up the amp, and switched it to use audio, instead of the appalling TV speakers. The whole setup has worked flawlessly for 5 years, but since WebOS 5.5, the amplifier starts, but is left in a muted state, and using the un-mute or volume controls on the TV remote makes no difference to turning on audio. The only way to get audio to play though my amp a speakers is to turn the amp's volume dial or press a volume button on the a amp's remote - this then unmutes the TV and audio is back. 
      There is no setting I can find in the TV that relates to whether the ARC channel starts muted or not...
      No software has changed in my amp.  This is an annoying new bug in the TV software, I assume down to some CEC changes.
