Hi there, just after upgrading the LG TV (65OLEDC9PLA) firmware to the latest version (04.70.05) I'm having a Problem with buffering: Now the Plex apps (like "Plex" or "Xplay") is buffering too much (just 1 minute ago before the upgrade, the apps never buffered at all). It's very annoying and it's not happening to "Emby" app.

So to test these issues you can install "plex server" in any local network computer and just serve the Dolby Core Universe demo that you can

. At some point of the video, the app will start buffering (It didn't happen before the firmware upgrade).

I have noticed the same problems. Before the update everything worked just fine. Now Plex is always buffering. Like every 2-3min i get a 2-3sec buffering notification. So annoying. How to fix this issue now? I cant watch my videos like this. BTW My tv is e9 connected over a LAN Cable.

For me it's clearly a bug... because Emby app works fine with the Emby Server... I hope they can fix it

I've just updated my LG 55UM75 TV to the latest software version - 05..20.15 - and now the picture looks off.
I've turned off TruMotion, Motion Eye Care, Smooth Gradation, Noise Reduction and Smooth Gradation, but somehow everything still looks artificial.
Is there another picture setting I'm missing, I've gone through every setting I can find.

I've update 2 of my LG Digital signage TVs (Model 65UH5J-HP) to the latest firmware (3.74.00). Before updating I was able to access the admin menu using "000000" as the default PWD. After updating, I am no longer able to use that default password to access the admin menu. It's giving me a message saying "Incorrect password (Same number repeated). Please try again"
      I tried to usual suspects:
      123456
      654321
      111111
      666666
No bueno  - anyone got any insights?  LG corporate support was unable to help either.

Up until a few days ago my TV and AVR have been working perfectly since I bought it.
Zero hassles with HDMI and connectivity.
Then I was prompted to update to the latest software version which I did and now often when I switch HDMI (running on 1) it picks up the device name, CEC works but I get “No Signal”… and then nothing.
Just stays on “No Signal”. It is almost as if some HDMI handshake breaks and now the driver is in a broken state.
I’ve found that if I hard power off and power on the device sometimes works but I don’t want to do that every time especially since it’s hard to get to the power.
This really strikes me as a software issue with the latest update as absolutely nothing else has changed in my setup.
      I’ve tried:
Different HDMI cables (high quality) Deep colour settings Reset the TV to factory default Different HDMI ports TV
      Model: OLED65G26LA / OLED65G26LA.HFBQLWK WebOS TV Version: 8.3.0.2301 Software Version: 13.30.56 AVR & Devices
Marantz SR5015 Nvidia Shield Pro PS5
The setup is the conventional AVR installation as shown in the attached file

      Has anyone else experienced this?
Is it possible to revert the software update?

Company Shares Progress on Greenhouse Gas Reduction and Resource
Circulation, Reinforces Commitment to Responsible Management

SEOUL, July 11, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) has released its 2024–2025 Sustainability Report, highlighting the company’s strong progress toward its 2030 environmental targets, including reductions in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and advancements in resource circularity. The report outlines the company’s wide-ranging efforts to embed sustainability into its operations as part of its vision for a Better Life for All.
In 2024, LG’s Scope 1 (direct) and Scope 2 (indirect) emissions totaled 910,000 tons of CO₂ equivalent (tCO₂eq), bringing the company close to its 2030 goal of 878,000 tons. The company had previously set itself the goal to reduce GHG emissions by 54.6 percent (compared to 2017 levels) by 2030. The early achievement of this goal was driven by proactive adoption of energy-efficient equipment and carbon-reduction technologies across multiple production processes.
LG is also making headway in cutting Scope 3 emissions from product use through expanded application of AI and other energy-saving technologies. In 2024, the company reduced product carbon emissions by 19.4 percent compared to 2020. Notably, LG was the first South Korean home appliance manufacturer to have its emissions reduction targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). These targets include a 20 percent cut in Scope 3 emissions across seven key product categories by 2030 (based on a 2020 baseline).
Progress has also been made in resource circulation. LG achieved a 97.4 percent waste recycling rate at its global production sites in 2024 – surpassing its 2030 goal of 95 percent. The company also collected 532,630 tons of used electronics from 91 locations in 56 countries last year, bringing its cumulative total since 2006 to over 5 million tons. Additionally, LG increased the amount of recycled plastic used in its products by 36 percent year-over-year.
LG remains committed to enhancing accessibility in its products and services. The LG Comfort Kit, designed to make appliances easier to use regardless of age, gender or ability, now includes 14 products. Accessibility features such as screen reading and simultaneous audio output for hearing aids and speakers on LG OLED TVs, as well as kiosks with height adjustment and tactile keypads, further reflect this commitment. The company also provides inclusive services including disability care programs, sign language consultations, senior support and in-store educational sessions on safety, IT and culture.
LG continues to strengthen its approach to responsible management through a governance structure rooted in compliance and ethics. The company’s board of directors is guided by principles of independence, expertise and transparency, while its ESG Committee plays an expanding role in overseeing sustainability initiatives. In its supply chain, LG supports shared growth through third-party ESG audits aligned with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards.
As a result of its continued efforts, LG ranked in the link hidden, please login to view of S&P Global’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) for the second year in a row. The company has also earned an “A” grade from Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) for five consecutive years and has been included in the Dow Jones “Best-in-Class World Index” for 13 straight years.
