Default Launcher Tabs

Question

Posted

When we first got the OLED55C9 TV four weeks ago all of the WebOS launcher tabs were showing in the launcher list.  When rearranging the tabs they were deleted by clicking on the “x”.  When we realized what was happening we stopped but not before deleting all but 5 of the default LG setting tabs.  The “ Today tab, My Channel tab, Live TV, Smart Share, Screen Share, Device connector, Web Browser, and User Guide“  are no longer listed in the Launcher.   We tried a Factory Reset which did not bring any of them back.  Anyone know if they are retrievable or gone forever?.    F77F59E1-7242-4328-83BD-2E04B9ABA0B2.jpeg.3de17d0ac3c30ffe15836892b87100ca.jpeg

I've update 2 of my LG Digital signage TVs (Model 65UH5J-HP) to the latest firmware (3.74.00). Before updating I was able to access the admin menu using "000000" as the default PWD. After updating, I am no longer able to use that default password to access the admin menu. It's giving me a message saying "Incorrect password (Same number repeated). Please try again"
      I tried to usual suspects:
      123456
      654321
      111111
      666666
No bueno  - anyone got any insights?  LG corporate support was unable to help either.

I have a couple of LG OLEDs in shared spaces, with external speakers, one via optical and the other via analog jack (confusingly named headphones). Whenever bluetooth headphones are used and then disconnected, the TV reverts to "internal" terrible audio. For non-technical people this is permanent. Do I have to train everyone to select the device from the long list or can I set a default?

I have a 65 Inch LG OLED evo AI C4 4K Smart TV 2024 - Model OLED65C4PUA.ACC. here have been a many weird things happening. This is one of them:
Whenever I turn on my TV, it doesn't remember the audio settings I chose before. I repeatedly need to set my audio for the input I am using. I ofter select APPLY TO ALL INPUTS to try and make sure it's the same regardless of which input I use, but it still reverts all changes.
Does anyone know what this happens?

I followed the instructions to set the default input on my TV, but every time I cold start it, it simply goes to the screen where there is a list of apps. I try to repeatedly go to the HOME app to try to set it again, even though it already shows HDMI 4 as the start up input, but it simpy goes to the default screen where my apps are listed.
Does anyone know what it would take to set this?

We have a 65UM7300AUE with software version 05.40.10. We have a Google TV dongle plugged into the HDMI 1 port and that is the input we use most of the time. Until recently every time we would turn the TV on it would default to HDMI 1 and the Google TV home screen would be the first thing we’d see. Life was good. Several weeks ago that changed and now the LG OS (I assume) home screen is the first thing we see. Then we have to use the LG remote to select HDMI 1 each time. We never used to have to do this or use the LG remote at all. Kind of annoying. We think we have HDMI 1 chosen as our default input but it doesn’t seem to matter. Any ideas on how we get things back to the way they used to be with the TV defaulting to HDMI 1 automatically?
