Question

I often feel the need to turn off my TV's screen after I select a playlist and start playing. Can we have this option in the Spotify app. We do have this option in the inbuilt music player where we can turn off the display while the music plays in the background and we can turn the display back on by pressing volume up button on the remote. Felt that this option could be added to Spotify app as well.

Thanks

Hi! Did you finally found a way to solve this? I can't find the option. If I play the music on my phone and stream to the tv using bluetooth instead of spotify directly on the tv I can turn off the screen. With spotify directly I can't do that.

That would be great...

Press the Magic remote’s Mic button and say “Turn off the Screen”. It turns off the screen.

For Spotify music. I found a tool that is designed to help Spotify users to use Spotify music easier. This tool is

, which can easily get music from Spotify and convert them as local files. Then you can save the music to your computer for using on any devices.

Maybe you can try to download Spotify songs to your computer with the help of

link hidden, please login to view
. Then you can move Spotify music files to your USB flash, and start to play them on your LG Smart TV through USB Media Player or Media Player.

My LG TV : Model 75UM7000PLA
      The Problem:
When I want to use my wireless optical headphones, I switch the TV “Sound Out” option to “Optical” or “Internal TV Speaker + Optical.” But when I do this, the TV sends a command to the Yamaha receiver that forces it to switch its input to Optical. This stops playback of my HDMI device connected to the Yamaha because the Yamaha input is changed.

      What I would like:
Can LG update the TV firmware so that:
1️⃣ When I select “Optical” or “Internal TV Speaker + Optical” in “Sound Out,” it does not cause the Yamaha receiver to switch its input source?
      OR
2️⃣ Add a new “Sound Out” option that sends audio to Optical without sending a command to change the Yamaha input?
      OR
3️⃣ Make the existing “Internal TV Speaker” mode also output audio through Optical, but without causing the Yamaha input to switch?

      Note:
Disabling ARC is not a good solution because:

Audio from devices connected to the Yamaha receiver still plays on both TV and Yamaha speakers.

Audio from devices connected to the TV no longer plays on the Yamaha speakers.

      Thank you!

      Hi All,

i’ve got an OLED 55C1 with webOS 6.0 and a service remote in South America.

I’ve been able to find working area codes for almost all regions using the service remote based on previous posts and tables.

Of most use to me were:
Brazil: 26895 (local DTV transmission settings) /22800 (BR/US DTV transmission settings)
      US: 1843 / 1793 / 22287
      UK/EU/Turkey: 3122
      AU Australia: 767
      JP Japan: 23439
I’ve also found working codes for China (CN), Taiwan (TW), Hog Kong (HK), Philippines (PH), Australia, NZ & South Asia incl. India (AJ), certain African and Middle Eastern countries (JA or JA ME IL regions: note Israel is not an option even though IL appears in the code) , Canada (CA), Mexico (MX), Panama and Central America (PA), Ecuador (EC), Colombia (CO), Peru (PE), Chile (CL), and Argentina (AR).
      Notably absent were working codes for;
      Israel (IL)
      Korea (KR)
Russia and CIS countries (RU CIS)
      Eastern Europe (ETC?)
Does anyone know the working area option service codes for these countries?
I am mostly interested in working IL and KR codes.

      thank you so much!

      TV: LG 55UJ630V
      OS Version: 5.80.50
Problem: Spotify is laggy, stops occassionally and is basically a sub-prime experience.
I can play 4K TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime etc absolutely fine, so why should an audio app have problems?
