LG HU85LA 4K short-throw laser projector Discussion

Recommended Posts

Any personal opinion about this projector? Through a LG HU85LA Review page, I read that, since this projector only has USB 2.0 support, it affect the streaming of blue-ray movies through USB. Is that correct? Then why LG didn't place USB 3.0 or 3.1 support? Share your view...

    • Question: Super slow internet (WiFi) when streaming

Hi, I recently bought an LG UK6500PLA TV (my first LG), but I have a difficult time streaming content (Wifi connected), e.g. Netflix series is streaming in low resolution.  The router is only 10 feet away from TV (but ethernet is not an option) and uses a 5GH frequency range. Can there really

    • Question: Is there a better alternative to the broken multi-view app?

I have a LG OLED C8 with the latest firmware, it should support the latest and greatest webOS features. The multi-view app is seriously disappointing: * Only have one mode (side-by-side) which is wasting a lot of screen space. No support for PiP (picture-in-picture) that is usually the de facto mode in way less expensive TVs. * Image is zoomed in with about 5% of the screen missing around every borders. * Brightness seems to be broken, everything is darker as if the black level

The built-in webOS Photo & Video app is great: easy to use interface, excellent codec support, good compatibility with other devices on my home network. But it is missing one key feature... Please add support for browsing chapters in *.mp4 (and other file types) as per the following: As a user, I can see a list of chapters in the media file I am currently playing (if there are any) As a user, I can jump to any chapter in the media file I am currently playing A
