Can you please make Fox+ available to the LG content store/ webOS. I have a LG 43UJ630V which is a 2017 model and I can't find it on their content store. I subscribed to Fox+ considering I could watch it on a big screen and not only on smart phone. I am very much disappointed that this limits me from watching it on my UHD TV. Subscription is wasted without seeing it on my big screens. We are now in 2019 guys! We are not moving backwards. Let us move forward and make Fox+ available to all subscribers.

I agree with this comment.  I also bought Oled TV for  my living room and a super uhd tv for my room so i can enjoy watching movies or series on a big screen instead of watching it from my mobile phone.  However, i cannot install fox+ and Disneylife on my LG TVs and it’s soooo frustrating.  LG should be up to date on the latest apps especially the entertainment apps so that they can already include it in the LG Content Store.  You should be more proactive and relevant.

No offence but you should have installed the apps on the tv before taking the subscription. Not all apps are available on LG webOS and its upto the streaming service to provide the app.

What LG has to do is put aside so many nonsense and excuses and meet the requests and needs of their customers, the LG webOS system has to be more flexible and take note of those who want the users who are the ones who pay and keep to this company

I agree, but we don’t live in a perfect world. WebOS is one of the fastest and best OS across the big 3. I am not defending LG(it would sure seem like it) but if you are desperate for some apps, you might as well buy a firestick that costs a fraction, and you will get more apps than you can even think of.

Infact I used a firestick before I got the hotstar app for WebOS. hotstar is basically owned by fox and also has content from HBO and Showtime plus the Star network.  Just a practical  solution for the situation at hand.

It is not as simple as LG deciding to write an app, there is much more to it than that.  Where an app pulls the content from may not be compliant with the webOS platform as well as many other factors.  This is why it is dependent on the content provider to create an app, and of course they are going to focus their efforts on the largest platforms first, which LG is not.   This is why I would suggest that if you want a content provider to be available on the webOS platform you contact them directly to show them that there is a desire for their product.

I’d love to see a new feature in the next software update where the sound mode automatically adjusts based on the app being used. For example, when opening music apps like Apple Music or Spotify, the sound mode could switch to Music Mode, and for streaming apps like Netflix or Prime Video, it could switch to Cinema Mode. This addition would make the user experience so much smoother and more convenient!
