Greetings.
A huge problem is connecting an external drive/flash drive to a TV with webos with a large number of files.
It starts scanning all folders, which can take up to 20 minutes. Which is unacceptably long.
On the netcast platform, everything was instant. Maybe it creates previews...maybe something else...
How to disable disk scanning by the webos platform?

How to show video cover art on SmartShare on WebOS ?
I have many movies, mp4 or mkv file with cover art muxed, but SmartShare
show only a randomic picture taken from movie as preview.
I'm not on DLNA but in HDD on USB 3.0 port so not using media servers like Windows or Plex.
Where do i have to put cover arts? Side-by-side in same directory of the file with same name like: movie1.mp4 - cover1.jpg ?
Anyone successed to get cover art showing?

I bought an lg pf50kg smart projector and can't find netflix, youtube and no app store so i paid for a projector that should be smart and ended up having a normal one this is cheating lg .

Hi,
I am havingl trouble with importing video file to internal storage of my company's LG TV. I have Store Mode enabled and when I open Store Mode settings, there is option "Copy video file from USB" but it's greyed out and I can't click on it. The TV can see USB drive and I can play the video file. Any ideas what could be the problem here? Thanks in advance.
