HI,

I've just bought a new LG TV in Aug.2017 but WebOS included was an 3.3 version and not in 3.5 version, created in April 2017...

I've called LG hotline to get an new firmware to upgrade my 55uh850v TV with newest WebOS and they said they have NO ANSWER fron LG.

When will U actualize our WebOS ?

Thank U for a quick answer.

Hi

My LG TV is a new 55uh850v ( 6 months) and I live in France.

I've called LG France hotline and they said they have no information about a further upgrade from WebOS 3.3 to 3.5 which is necessary for me.

Do U know if I can downoad anywhere the newest version (3.5 in april 2017)of WebOS?

Hello, I'm really disappointed that my new 4k TV model 2023 is not able to play goPro video in default high resolution. As I see from properties it has got 5312 x 2988 30fps, bit rate 190kbps audio 48kHz. Does not matter I tried it direcly from SD card or remote bluetooth cast, it says wrong format... Only I can view goPro static pictures and just thumbnails of mp4 videos... Of course, there are some older guide how to convert mp4 video to lowerr resolution etc. But I do not understand why to do it.. Any other Windows or Android devices can do it, include the 10 years old ones... It really cripples my brand new 4k TV, please help. Just I'm afraid only a firmware update can solve it. Thank you.

      Hello
When I try to watch replay or live TV from Belgian casts in the browser I have error messages:
      - for Auvio (RTBF) it is purely incompatible
      - for RTLPlay , the message says that the browser version is too old and has to be updated.
      But...
It is impossible to install alternative browser on LG smart TV, or to update the LG one.
WebOS is not really a good idea, or at least it should be more "open" for the apps that are not proposed or updated.
I know it is possible to share from other machines (tablet, phone or computer) but I want to use my TV "alone" too!
Do you have a solution (other then buying a chromecast or equivalent device?)
      Thank you

There shouldn’t be a different WebOS experience on TV’s that can support the current OS.
