Do anyone have OLED55C7V - 03.51.20 firmware file?

Question

Posted

I am trying to downgrade my C7 using the LGDTVUPDATER method and it works very well but I need the 03.51.20 firmware info/file for EU.

The program has the AU (Australia) version but not EU. Does anyone have 03.51.20 firmware file or link for EU version? OLED55C7V
Or does anyone have access to

link hidden, please login to view
or and give me the link and REQ ID to the above firmware version?

I am currently on 03.60.09 but I am hating how much dimmer the HDR Game Mode is with this update.

A direct download link is going to be nigh on impossible as the file is apparently hosted on an Adobe server hidden by javascript and impenetrable file names.  For example:

<a adobe-down="down-csfile" adobe-file="Software_File(Version_04.70.10).zip" href="" onclick="javascript:return fncFileDown('20150500474577', 'KgBVKAOIxL52ctNKg34jiA', 'Software_File(Version_04.70.10).zip', 'GCSC', 'N', '', '')" title="Download a file" target="_blank" adobe-click="manuals" adobe-model="OLED55C7V">

However Softpedia seem to have links to the file:

  <span>Software_File(Version_04.70.10).zip</span>

Thank you for the reply George.

Yes it's definitely not easy getting a link to the file. i think you have to have access to the websites I mentioned.  The creator of LGDTVUPDATER has access to all of these old files and info, but I don't know how to get in touch with him.

I got a firmware version from LG Spain, which should work on all EU tv sets, but it still doesnt work. After reading a lot on forums, it seems all the 2017 OLED has a built in block that won't let you install a older firmware version.

Does anyone here have successfully downgraded a 2017 OLED tv?

Immediately following the major LG webOS firmware upgrade last week, our OLED65G2PSA is damaged. A white line appears top to bottom of screen in from the left hand side & the tv either fails to turn on, or shuts itself down shortly after. Has anyone else had this issue & if so, has any update on a solution. (I'm waiting for LG to get it sorted. Waiting ...)

Our LG TV does not show files properly when a new file is added in a directory.
We have a Synology diskstation ethernet drive with DLNA and if we download a new file (in the dedicated download folder) or we copy a file from a PC to a folder, the file is not seen in the LG TV.
Sometimes it's there in few minutes, sometimes it's not visible for days! turn on&off is not working.
If we want to watch a video we need to load it on a USB stick, which is definitely not nice in 2019.
Looking at synology forums the DLNA file list should be automatically updated when a new file is added, is there any way to force refresh from LG app?

      Thanks

      Hello,
      I have a new C4 TV.
Here is the problem I am facing, as well as a suggestion for improvement.

When you have an acoustic deficiency, it is much easier to use a headset (via bluetooth).
But the only current option is to switch the sound to the internal speakers when you activate the bluetooth.
It is still a shame to penalize other people who watch TV by no longer allowing the use of a good sound installation that you have (sound bar, ...) because a person needs an acoustic aid.
Would it be possible to add this combination (optical output + bluetooth) to satisfy everyone?
I add that I tried to place an optical splitter to combine the 2, however, there is a bug apparently because as soon as you turn off the headset, there is a white rectangle which probably indicates an error that appears very briefly but every few seconds, which makes TV viewing impossible.
      Thanks for the follow-up
