The convenient, new platform allows business customers to browse and subscribe to LG digital signage cloud solutions and manage them all remotely. LG Business Cloud is compatible with multiple LG digital signage lineups including Micro LED displays, commercial TVs, Transparent OLED Signage and LED displays.*
LG Business Cloud enables customers to establish a commercial cloud solution for their LG digital signage with a straightforward, one-time sign-up process. Along with eliminating the need to browse several different pages, submit inquiries and engage with sales representatives, the new platform offers educational videos (from beginner to expert level) catering to diverse business needs and explaining how to get the most out of LG’s specialized cloud offerings. Additionally, the structure of LG Business Cloud enhances user convenience, allowing for customer inquiries to be addressed directly on the website.
The platform includes the LG SuperSign Cloud digital signage content management solution (CMS) and LG Pro:Centric Cloud, the company’s hotel TV-focused CMS. These solutions give users the flexibility to customize content (e.g., welcome messages, facility information and promotions) displayed on their LG digital signage and to set up display schedules. Also on LG Business Cloud is the LG ConnectedCare remote management solution, which actively monitors the performance/condition of LG signage and promptly sends email notifications if unexpected events are detected. Additionally, LG ConnectedCare lets users remotely adjust various signage settings, such as screen brightness and volume.
The versatile Business Cloud platform enables users to explore all of LG’s cloud solutions and experience them firsthand by taking advantage of the trial licenses on offer. Once customers have selected the LG cloud solution they wish to subscribe to, they can configure the duration of the relevant license agreement and easily activate the license post-purchase. What’s more, LG Business Cloud places no restrictions on the number of devices that customers can use to access it; empowering businesses of all sizes, from small enterprises to corporate giants, to manage their signage displays more efficiently.
Furthermore, LG Business Cloud boasts a user-friendly interface that makes it accessible for users of all levels. Users can monitor the status of connected LG digital signage in real-time, and enjoy the efficiency of effortless remote control. Customers can take advantage of remote control functions such as on/off and reboot, as well as a dashboard feature that enables them to easily check signage operating status.
In addition, the partner solutions offered through LG Business Cloud also include media art applications that grant users access to a variety of dynamic artwork, and service applications that deliver real-time weather, flight and local tourism information.
A valuable tool for retail, corporate and public sector clients, LG Business Cloud is a one-stop solution for comparing, subscribing to and managing LG digital signage cloud solutions. It consolidates an array of related services and functionalities to elevate the overall customer experience, and will eventually encompass additional product categories to deliver even greater value and convenience.
At CES 2024, LG CEO William Cho highlighted the B2B business as LG’s new growth engine, noting that the company will expand its product portfolio to include even more innovative, customer-driven solutions. Following last year’s successful launch of the home solutions business, which combines subscription services with smart home appliances, LG plans to use the same model (seamlessly integrated services and hardware) to grow its B2B solutions business.
“LG Business Cloud is a dedicated platform that simplifies the management of LG digital signage cloud solutions for businesses of all sizes,” said Paik Ki-mun, senior vice president and head of the Information Display business unit of LG Business Solutions Company. “LG is a total solutions provider, offering innovative commercial signage displays and convenient, time-saving management software that enhance the customer experience.”
LG Business Cloud will be on show at ISE 2024 in Hall 3 (Stand 3K 100) of Fira Barcelona’s Gran Via conference center from January 30 to February 2 and is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of this year. The ability to purchase solutions from within LG Business Cloud will be available initially in North America before expanding to other markets around the globe, including South Korea and Europe.

Company Celebrates Decade-Long Legacy With Its Employees and Partners,
Recognizing Their Tireless Efforts in Driving Mobility Sector Innovation

SEOUL, June 29, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) marked the 10th anniversary of the establishment of its Vehicle component Solutions (VS) Company this week, hosting a ceremony in Seoul under the theme of Driving Better Future Mobility, attended by over 3,000 employees. While presenting at the 10th anniversary ceremony, Eun Seok-hyun, president of LG VS Company, shared ‘Vision 2030,’ a bold initiative to secure the company’s position as a global leader in the automotive solutions market by the beginning of the next decade.
“The surplus in sales we achieved last year is a testament to the solid business structure our company has built over the past 10 years,” said Eun Seok-hyun. “We will become a global leader in the electric vehicle (EV) components industry, driving the era of EVs and autonomous vehicles through technological and design innovation.”
LG CEO William Cho made a special appearance at the event, delivering an inspiring message of encouragement. “We have arrived at this significant milestone thanks to the trust of our customers and the dedication of our employees,” said CEO Cho. “The LG VS Company will continue to innovate and strive for better future mobility.”
Since establishing the VS Company in 2013, LG has continued to nurture its auto parts business, viewing it from the outset as a key driver of future growth. Moving forward a decade, LG is now strengthening its position in the global auto parts market based on consistent growth in three key areas: the LG VS Company’s vehicle infotainment solutions; LG Magna e-Powertrain, a joint venture with Magna International to develop and produce EV powertrain technology; and ZKW Group’s vehicle lighting systems.
The LG VS Company successfully turned an operating profit for the first time in the second quarter of 2022, marking a turnaround after 26 consecutive quarters in the negative. Last year, the company recorded sales of KRW 8,649.6 billion and an operating profit of KRW 169.6 billion. It also finished 2022 with an order backlog with a total value of approximately KRW 80 trillion.
Infotainment, which combines driving information and entertainment, provides a vehicle’s driver and passengers with enhanced in-car experiences. The heart of any EV, the powertrain – including the motor, inverter and converter – generates and transmits power. Located at the front of the car and integrating electric auto parts and sensors, the lighting system in smart vehicles plays a vital role in maintaining on-road safety.
At the core of the company’s business lies its in-vehicle infotainment system (IVI), which employs advanced telematics (vehicle communications module) and a digital cockpit system (head unit). LG’s telematics solution secured an impressive 22.4 percent share of the vehicle telematics market in the first quarter of 2023, while its digital cockpit system has recorded a double-digit market share since 2021.
LG’s global partners shared inspiring, congratulatory video messages that were screened at the Seoul event:
Ahn Hyung-ki, senior vice president of the Electronics Development Center & Mobility Technology Center at Hyundai Motor Group, said, “LG has demonstrated a dedication to making better products, consistently meeting our requests by solving difficult challenges. We hope that the LG VS Company and Hyundai will continue to work together to lead the automobile industry.”
Kwon Hae-young, vice president of the Infotainment Development Center at Hyundai Motor Group, stated, “Participating with LG in the mass production joint ceremony in 2018 was especially memorable for me. I would like to thank LG’s development team for their passion and dedication to our ongoing collaboration.”
Jeff Morrison, General Motors’ (GM) vice president of Global Purchasing and Supply Chain, offered these words: “We sincerely congratulate LG VS Company on its 10th anniversary. LG has been a trusted supplier to GM since even before the VS Company was officially formed, and has long proved its commitment to helping our brands provide differentiated in-vehicle experiences. Let’s all stay committed to developing innovative technologies that enhance the driving experience and promote safety on the road.”
Julien Battiston, Head of Renault’s Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) Product Line, said, “LG has very talented software engineers and a flexible business model. I hope that we can create more success together in the future.”

HiEV Charger, an LG Affiliated Company, Has Unveiled Its
New Portfolio of Convenient and Reliable Electric Vehicle Chargers

SEOUL, May 25, 2023 — LG Electronics (LG) is expanding its electric vehicle (EV) charger solutions business, a move expected to further solidify the company’s position in the fast-growing EV charger segment. LG held a ceremony yesterday to celebrate the commencement of EV charger products manufactured by HiEV Charger (formerly known as AppleMango). HiEV Charger, an EV charging solution company, was acquired by LG, GS Energy and GS Neotek in 2022.
HiEV Charger unveiled its product portfolio during the ceremony, which features four different chargers: two 7kW models (wall-mounted and stand-type) and two fast-charging models (100kW and 200kW). All of the new products offer convenient installation and are suitable for use in multiple environments, such as homes, office buildings and a diverse range of other commercial facilities.
The newly introduced EV chargers boast an array of safety-enhancing features. In addition to being water- and dust-resistant, the chargers are equipped with functions designed to provide electrical and thermal protection throughout the charging process. The new chargers also have a slim depth that supports the efficient use of space, while the inclusion of two connectors means two EVs can be charged simultaneously. Simple management is provided through features like connector lock detection and remote updates.
By combining its know-how and technical prowess from the B2C and B2B sectors, LG is able to deliver differentiated solutions and enhanced customer experiences. The company’s well-established capabilities in manufacturing, quality control, after-sales service and supply chain management create the foundation necessary to achieve sustained success in the EV charging solution business. Looking beyond the domestic market, LG is currently planning EV charging product launches and related collaborations in countries around the world.
The global EV charging market is expected to grow to USD 186 billion by 2030, according to Roland Berger, a global management consulting firm. The market expansion is being driven by several factors, including the ongoing implementation of regulations aimed at protecting the environment, and the continuous progress of vehicle electrification.
“The start of EV charger production marks a significant milestone for LG, propelling us on a journey to becoming a total EV charging solutions provider,” said Suh Heung-kyu, vice president and head of the Electric Vehicle Charging business division of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company. “We will focus on delivering convenient and fast EV charging solutions for EV owners and differentiated EV charging solutions offering diverse form factors and new services for our valued partners.”
