#LG Oled 55eg9100# play mkv file from usb cannot change subtitle or language

TV : LG Oled 55eg910t

 

When playing MKV file from the usb that plugs in  the TV, The video and audio is fine but the tv dose not show Subtitle from the MKV file.

 

With the same file playing via HD player, the subtitle come out ok. 

 

it happan with different audio track in some file too, Can anyone help?

Be sure that the setting from your TV enabled the subtitles. And both files are on the same folder.

The sub and audio track are embedded in mkv file.

With the same file on computer or HD player i can change but not on TV.

While i cannnot change subs i can access the subtitle menu and everything but the TV seem cannot read and display sub

If sub and audio track are already embedded in the file, it should be visible during playback. Otherwise, the subtitle file is a separate file (having an extension of. srt). And as rule, both files i.e.mkv and srt should be on the same folder or should be having exactly the same file name (with different extension of course).
