Hello, I'm in Spain and the 20th of this month NETFLIX has begun here. In my 2014 47LB730V I updated the app. As I had some problems with the language of the contents of Netflix because they appeared in French as mi default language, I had the bad idea of closing the Netflix icon and deleting the application hoping it would be as an APP in the LG STORE to reinstall it. The problem is that it is not as an APP and I can't install it again in my TV, thing that I can do with Youtube, for example.

Does anyone know what to do? In the chat with LG Spain they told me to reset the Tv to Origin but I don't trust this will repair the problem.

By the way, this 23rd October I recived an updat via OTA with the 5.00.15 version. I 've notices an improvement in watching quality and the interface is now much more "usable".

As Netflix was released I looked for the app in the Premium section - no luck. Phoned LG technical support and they said that there's a problem with WEB OS and NetFlix for South Africa and a new update will only be available in March....that sucks! Thanks LG!

South Africa:

I have a 55UF70T - no Netflix available on LG store

Contacted local support - apparently Netflix has only been released for certain Models. "We havent as yet been notified for this specific model. There will be a prompt on your TV when this becomes available Kind Regards LG Service"

If I knew this beforehand, would have bought a TV that had all of this ready

It should be simple LG - other video streaming apps are there and they work - why not Netflix.

Maybe other unsuspecting customers need to be informed about this and buy other supplier TV before they buy a smart TV from LG thinking they will get all the features.

Come on LG - sort this out.

I have 55UF7787 model and also no Netflix app yet. It's quite annoying that they are taking so much time. Couple this with other stupid issues related to firmware (like bug's and so) and you are damn right! We should have bought Samsung or some other brand...

I am so regretful that i bought lg 55uf7787 as after paying that much you just cant get netflix. Furthermore, i am using an external device to watch netflix (playstation) on that tv. Today i wanted to upgrade to 4k. Guess what? Customer services told me my tv is not 4k. Thanks LG!

      Hi there,

I have an LG smart TV OLED65G36LA (LG OS v03.20.17, webOS TV version 8.20.0-710) , and the Prime Video App was no longer able to update (from Dec 2025) and therefore could no longer be used.
I have tried uninstalling the app and re-installing, and that was unable to work, so then applied a full reset on the LG TV and so had to reinstall all of my other apps (Apple TV, Netflix, etc etc) which all successfully downloaded so confirmed network connections and setup are all confirmed working.
When I try to download the Prime Video app, it remains stuck on the download screen and is unable to update.
      Thanks

      LG OLED65C2AUA.
webOS TV version webOS25/10.2.2-61. up to date.
software version 33/22.95 up to date.
whenever I watch Netflix it freezes indiscriminately. Once it happened at minute 1:29 of a movie although it can happen at any time. the Netflix error message says to restart which I do but the issue persists. it is to the point where it is unwatchable. however, when I watch it through Firestick it is fine. Other TV's do not have the issue so I am thinking it is something with the TV. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the TV. I have powered down the TV. I have reset the router. I am wired with ethernet so not using wifi. any help would be appreciated to fix this issue.

I bought LG smart tv. for some reason region selected was Africa and could only choose from african countries and had very little available apps in content store. I live in Georgia, so figured that  changing region to EU would help so changed it to 3122 and selected service country UK because Georgia was not in the list. after that every app says that it is not available in current country. I have  default region code saved so I guess could go back but wondering if any one can help me to get it working in EU. or if anyone have region code in which Georgia is available it will be helpful as well.
