Smart Share Improvements

Hello,

 

I'm really impressed with WebOS, though I have noticed a few bugs.

However, the Smart Share feature really needs work. Here are some suggestions, covering the most important areas:

1. Easy access to content!  This is the worst part right now and I can see a couple of ways to fix it:
   1. Add Smart Share shortcuts to the Launcher Bar.  These could include one or more of these options:
      1. DLNA server, folder & view type
      2. DLNA server, folder
      3. DLNA server
   2. Alternatively, completely redo the top-level of Smart Share
      1. Start with list of DLNA/content servers
      2. Allow users to create shortcuts to specific servers, folders with/without view type
2. Retain view-type selection! Right now, this defaults to "list view" after you power-cycle, etc.
3. Better use of screen area at the top
   1. It shows the current folder in big text, how about showing (in a different text color but still large text) the select folder underneath that
   2. Make it more clear that the tab on the left is a tab/button that goes back to the previous device or folder
4. Fast-forward and rewind
   1. I think the scrubber works but I don't see why these are greyed out?

It would be nice addition , & I would also like to add that every time I open a file in smart share , its aspect ratio needs to be changed to my preferences full screen settings, it resets every time I turn off & On the TV.

Better photo management with next photo prebuffered , so that it shouldn't show loading symbol while going to next photo. & Also photo resolution option to "fill the screen" .

These three additions would be really helpful.
