I'm looking for the italian code too. It seems impossible that there is no area lists on the web.

is there around some italian LG user that could take a peek in the area option menu and make us happy?

I have an imported 42LB65 model from UAE to Bangladesh.

But as usual, can't log in & connect the LG store & can't download apps.

Can anybody help me by manually changing the country code/firmware??

Big thanks in advance.

OK to all italian users...

I solved the problem of TV imported from Eastern Europe with MHP services blocked.

Enter EZ-Adjust menu

Password is 0413

Area Code: was 3122, set to 3124 for Italy

Continent will automatically switch from 50 to 52

Exit EZ-Adjust menu

Reset TV to factory settings.

Now you will have MHP services activated!!!

Probably this procedure will work for all western europe, not sure about it. Definitely, it works for Italy.

If you don't know how to enter EZ-ADjust menu:

(I'm sorry but it is in Italian).

Hello, i bought a 75UN7070 LG TV and at the location menu it only shows Canada, Mexico, US, others. TV was purchased at US military base in Greece. There are multiple free local apps similar to netflix available in LG content store in Greece that i would like to download but because the area/location is different they are not available. If i enter service menu and navigate to area settings, changing it to 3122 (UK) or 3124 (ITALY) will show them? How can we find out whats the code for Greece? anybody knows?

Hello everyone,

a couple of things.

First: LG Service Remote Control app actually works. it only costs 1.99$ and its available at play store.

IMPORTANT: application works through IR blaster and thus you need to download it to a phone that supports it. I know for sure that the latest XIAOMI phones still have one. I used a XIAOMI Note 8 Pro.

Second: After downloading the app, press ADJUST button. It open the service menu. Go to AREA Setting. My TV was bought in US and moved to Europe/Greece. The default settings were:

Area Option: 22282

Continent Index: 10

Language&Country: US

HW Settings: US

At the location setting at the menu was showing: United Stares, Mexico, Canada, Others.

I found a friend's LG TV purchased in Greece at the same time and did the same. Navigate to the Area option menu and copied its settings

Area Option: 3122

Continent Index: 50

Language&Country: EU

HW Settings: EU

Went back to my TV, modified 22282 to 3122, automatically Continent Index, Language&Country, HW Settings were changed.

Close TV, re-open it, it displays WebOS, doing its staff for a while, and the you have the same menu with a locally purchased TV, Location, Broadcast area, menu language. My TV now displays the menu in Greek, and at the LG store i can find local apps such as COSMOTE TV, ERTFLIX, TuneIn Radio etc.

Lastly: 3122 is EU general. In some posts i show that 3122 is UK and 3124 Italy. By using 3122 it popped up all European countries to choose from.

Thank you,

Hello, I know that other LG WebOS users have the same problem as me, but I can't find a solution on the web.
Perhaps one of you experts can help me.
Shortly: manually sort the app icons on my LG Smart TV (OLED77C55LA) and place the “TV Channels” icon in the first position (on the left, to be clear). Before all the others (e.g. Netflix, PlutoTV, Prime, etc.), but when I turn off the TV for a few hours and turn it back on, I find the “TV Channels” icon in last position.
I have tried putting it in second position, third position and so on, but every time I turn it back on, I find it in last position.
      Can anyone help me?
      Thank you.

I have a Roku device attached to my LG TV model # 55UQ7570PUJ. As I’m watching something on the Roku and using my Roku remote, every now and then something that I press on that Roku remote brings up the LG ‘Select a menu item’ screenwhere AV Reset is highlighted. Any idea what could be happening here? One clue: after I press the undo button on the LG remote to get rid of that window, I find that the volume is all the way down. Maybe I’m hitting the Roku remote’s Mute button in some weird way and that brings up the ‘Select a menu item’ window?
It’s surprising that something I press on the Roku remote brings up an LG dialog, but that’s what’s happening. Thanks for any help.

I have an LG UJ6200 that has worked fine for several yrs.  and last night I decided to update it from 5.8.03,    I believe to the latest version,   6.04,     I think.
Every thing is working except for one website that is my favorite.     Prviously I was able to play all streaming video content but now when I try to play a video on the site I get a message:     content cannnot be played
      error code 232011.
Very frustrating as this is one of the reasons I got the tv in the first place.
Don't know why this is happening and dont' see a way to go back to the previous update.
Would doing a factory reset bring me back to the original operating system setting or just keep the newest update in place?
Also,   I notice a lot of new user agreements that I probably didn't pay attention to before and didn't agree to.     Is it possible that my not checking the boxes to agree to all the agreements,  that seem pretty invasive to me,
is preventing some content from playing?
This hasn't affected Netflix,  or regular you tube videos,  by the way,  so not sure if my not agreeing to all the user terms is the issue.
      Any help is appreciated.
      Thank you.

      Hi All,

i’ve got an OLED 55C1 with webOS 6.0 and a service remote in South America.

I’ve been able to find working area codes for almost all regions using the service remote based on previous posts and tables.

Of most use to me were:
Brazil: 26895 (local DTV transmission settings) /22800 (BR/US DTV transmission settings)
      US: 1843 / 1793 / 22287
      UK/EU/Turkey: 3122
      AU Australia: 767
      JP Japan: 23439
I’ve also found working codes for China (CN), Taiwan (TW), Hog Kong (HK), Philippines (PH), Australia, NZ & South Asia incl. India (AJ), certain African and Middle Eastern countries (JA or JA ME IL regions: note Israel is not an option even though IL appears in the code) , Canada (CA), Mexico (MX), Panama and Central America (PA), Ecuador (EC), Colombia (CO), Peru (PE), Chile (CL), and Argentina (AR).
      Notably absent were working codes for;
      Israel (IL)
      Korea (KR)
Russia and CIS countries (RU CIS)
      Eastern Europe (ETC?)
Does anyone know the working area option service codes for these countries?
I am mostly interested in working IL and KR codes.

      thank you so much!
