Hello, I have searched everywhere but it seems I am the only one facing this strange problem .... when I need to use whatsoever function like simply lower the volume or changing a channel the control works but the appairing webos, instead of showing the volume bar or the channell list, makes strange coloured patterns or flickering for few seconds, then it disappear and the tv goes on working with no issues; you may imagine that, apart using intuitive controls like volume or zapping channesl, it is impossible to get more settings because the list won't be visible on the screen .... any ideas ?

Have you ever wondered how many LG OLED TVs are shipped every year? 100 thousand units perhaps, maybe as much as a million? In the first half of 2023, LG recorded over 1.33 million shipments of its stunning OLED TVs, setting new benchmarks and records its competitors can only dream of.
According to market research firm
link hidden, please login to view, LG captured over 55 percent of the global OLED TV market in the first six months based on total shipments. As a renowned OLED TV leader now celebrating 10 years of innovation in this space, LG has once again defended its premium TV crown while further cementing LG OLED TV’s status as the pinnacle of premium TVs.
The “bigger the better” trend continues to prevail in the TV market, which is great news for LG. As more and more people desire larger TVs for their living spaces, models of 75 inches or larger accounted for a remarkable 11.4 percent share of total OLED TVs sold, while shipments’ yearly average growth rate topped 90 percent over the past five years. Staying on top of this growing trend, LG is resuming its dominance in the market with an outstanding 64.2 percent share in total shipments of OLED TVs over 75 inches.
LG is targeting this new demand for large and premium TVs in the second half of 2023 with the groundbreaking TV (model 97M3) it unveiled in July, which boasts the world’s first 4K 120Hz wireless solution that makes it easy for customers to achieve their dream interior.
Not one to be confined, LG unleashed a tidal wave of 10 million TV units (OLED and LCD) on the world, which has helped the company carve out a 16.2 percent share of revenue for itself in the global TV market.
Despite facing a downturn in the global TV market, LG persisted in strengthening its inventory management and securing higher profits while actively pursuing a strategic approach for its premium and ultra-large displays. And this commitment has paid off substantially, with its LG OLED TVs now accounting for around 30 percent of the company’s overall revenue generated from TV sets.
TV shipments totaled over 92 million units in the first half of 2023, matching last year’s first half performance. The OLED TV segment, which has been led by LG for a number of years, has already passed the 2 million shipments mark this year, which bodes well for the rest of 2023.
OLED TVs are continuing their takeover of the global TV market after capturing 9.3 percent of all revenue in the first half. Meanwhile, Omdia predicts that OLED TVs are set to shine even brighter, projecting at least a 43 percent revenue share among premium TVs priced above USD 1,500.

All of a sudden, the row of inputs showed up at the bottom of the home screen on my C1. I’ve tried every setting but can’t seem to get rid of them. I used to just call them up as needed (input button on remote) but now they’re there permanently. Any ideas?

Not sure if this has been previously posted.
Recently switched from a LG Nano Cell 85 to the LG C3 and really disappointed that now the Home button takes you to the full screen Home Page instead of showing a "Shelf" (I think I have the right term for it) of installed Apps. (image attached of what it used to look like)
It just feels better to be able to still watch/hear content while I am making a decision to switch or maybe even possibly even not because something catches my attention. I would say it is more efficient and less intrusive for my viewing experience.
If this can be implemented as an additional option again, that would be great!

With Freshness-Enhancing Technologies, and Efficiency,
LG’s New Fridge Ready to Wow European Market
SEOUL, Aug. 22, 2022 — LG Electronics (LG) is unveiling its latest bottom-freezer refrigerator for the European market at IFA 2022. The new model delivers a more sustainable kitchen with LG’s energy-saving Inverter Linear Compressor, an upgraded internal compartment and the company’s cutting-edge ‘freshness’ technologies, including LinearCooling and DoorCooling+.
LG’s bottom-freezer fridge boasts an ‘A’ energy rating, the highest rating possible under the European Commission’s strict energy standards system.1 In order to earn the ‘A’ rating, LG improved the structure of the refrigerator’s condenser and heat exchanger, and enhanced the airflow path to achieve a more efficient and even delivery of cold air throughout the fridge.
LG’s new fridge also employs the incredibly efficient and highly durable Inverter Linear Compressor. Thanks to the company’s remarkable compressor, the bottom freezer offers a 10 percent reduction in annual energy consumption compared to other LG refrigerator models with an A energy rating – helping consumers to shrink their household energy footprint and save on electricity bills.2
Additionally, the high-performance, new model comes with LG’s freshness-enhancing technologies – LinearCooling and DoorCooling+. LinearCooling reduces temperature variations,3 which helps to keep food items fresh for longer period of time,4 while DoorCooling+ sends out cold air from the top of the refrigerator compartment to hard-to-reach areas like the front door basket.
For a convenient user experience, the new bottom freezer refrigerator can be remotely controlled and monitored via the LG ThinQ app for smartphones, letting users manage settings and check operational status from practically any location.
Further convenience is presented by the fridge’s 2-step Folding Shelf and Wine Rack, the former can fold away to accommodate larger items whenever needed, while the latter can hold up to five bottles of wine at once. What’s more, the new model provides an instant style upgrade with the application of LG’s Metal Fresh finish to its interior.
“The new bottom freezer fridge leverages LG’s state-of-the-art technologies to keep food market-fresh while also delivering superb energy efficiency and a host of user-friendly features,” said Lyu Jae-cheol, president of the LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company. “Designed with sustainability in mind, and to provide a better kitchen experience, our new refrigerator offers the performance, convenience and style that the European market demands.”
Visitors to LG’s booth (Hall 18, Messe Berlin) at IFA 2022 from September 2-6 will have the opportunity to check out the stunning bottom-freezer refrigerator in matte-black finish, along with a host of other innovations for a better life.

1 The European Commission revised its home appliances energy rating standards in March, 2021. As part of this, a new energy label ratings system was introduced, with ratings running from A to G instead of the previous scale of A+++ to D. ( link hidden, please login to view)
2 Based on the household refrigeration/freezer energy consumption test results according to IEC 62552 test standard. Annual energy consumption of LG’s new bottom-freezer is 99KWh, whereas the annual energy consumption of conventional LG’s bottom freezer is 110kh.
3 Based on UL test results using LG’s internal testing method, comparing average peak-to-peak temperature fluctuation in the fresh food compartment between LG refrigerator models Bottom Freezer GBB72NSDFN (±0.5C°), on no load and normal temperature setting. Results may vary in actual usage.
4 Based on UL test results using LG’s internal testing method measuring the time required for Bok Choy stored in the fresh food compartment of LG refrigerator model GBB72NSDFN to decrease in weight by five percent. Results may vary in actual usage.

Question
Wendel
My tvs bottom half is flickering every few seconds to a darker colour, I can still see the picture behind it, it's like a gray shadow on top of the image. Any idea if its the T-Con board or the LED backlights that might be the problem.
