In just the past couple years, the that’s been dominated by Samsung’s The Frame has seen growth, with additions from both TCL and Hisense. Now LG has announced its own entry, the LG Gallery TV. The TV will leverage the Gallery+ service that LG released earlier this year, which includes thousands of display visuals ranging from pieces of art to cinematic images to gaming scenes. Much like Samsung’s Art Store, Gallery+ has a limited free option, but its full capability requires a subscription.
The new Gallery TV shouldn’t be confused with the G Series OLED TVs, like the , even though the G Series used to be called the Gallery Series up until a couple years ago. The Gallery TV is a mini-LED TV with “a specialized screen that reduces glare and minimizes reflections for an art-like viewing experience” (so it likely has a matte coating). LG hasn’t specified the backlight configuration, but all of the other art TVs use edge lighting, so it’s a safe bet that this one will as well. OLED technology, while offering superior picture quality to mini LED, isn’t able to display a single image for an extended time without concern of image retention (or burn-in).
LG has taken a cue from Hisense and includes a frame with the Gallery TV. The default frame is white, with the option to purchase an additional wood-colored frame. The TV will be available in 55 and 65 inches, but pricing has yet to be released.

CES Best of Innovation Award Winner Redefines
In-Vehicle Experience Powered by Affectionate Intelligence
SEOUL, Dec. 17, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) will unveil an immersive experiential space at CES 2026 that brings the company’s future mobility vision to life through Affectionate Intelligence. The exhibit invites visitors to experience firsthand how AI can reshape the driver, front-passenger and rear seating areas, reimagining the whole cabin as a more intuitive and human-centered space designed to enhance every ride.
This new series of solutions has earned the CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award in In-Vehicle Entertainment, marking the first time the LG Vehicle Solution Company has won the category’s top honor. The system brings together cutting-edge display technology, advanced in-cabin sensing, and on-device AI under a comprehensive AI-Defined Vehicle architecture.
The showcase features three core experiential solutions: the Mobility Display Solution, which transforms the windshield into an intelligent interface; the Automotive Vision Solution, which enhances safety and delivers context-aware information to the driver and front passenger via Vision AI; and the In-Vehicle Entertainment Solution, which provides personalized content recommendations, memory-based media and real-time translation.
In the Mobility Display Solution zone, visitors can experience how AI intuitively presents essential information through a transparent OLED-equipped windshield. For example, when approaching a traffic signal, AI displays the remaining wait time above the signal, selectively providing only the most relevant information at that moment. In autonomous driving mode, the system analyzes the surrounding environment and generates corresponding visual scenes: cherry blossom petals flutter across the display on tree-lined roads, while a monotonous tunnel transforms into an enchanting forest, creating an immersive, near-virtual-reality experience.
The Automotive Vision Solution is an advanced in-cabin sensing solution powered by LG’s Automotive Vision System, designed to enhance safety while enabling context-aware, empathetic interactions and personalized content delivery. The solution tracks driver movement, gaze direction, attention, clothing color and gestures in real time, allowing the system to understand and respond to the occupant’s state. Through eye tracking and gesture control, the system expands the range of interest-based information, while anamorphic display graphics heighten immersion and realism. For instance, in autonomous driving mode, if a front-seat passenger looks at an advertisement displayed on a building, gaze recognition can trigger related information on the passenger display, providing seamless product discovery and purchasing.
The In-Vehicle Entertainment Solution delivers personalized entertainment and interactive communication. By recognizing scenery outside the vehicle, AI can display photos linked to past memories associated with that location on the window display. Passengers can share these moments in real time through video calls with family members. During long journeys, AI recommends content tailored to individual tastes, providing entertainment that turns miles into moments. In another scenario, if a restaurant staff member communicates using sign language, AI interprets the gestures into on-screen text to support smooth, two-way communication.
“We are bringing our future mobility vision to life by embedding AI across our solutions – many of which, including in-cabin sensing, are already in production with global OEMs,” said Eun Seok-hyun, president of the LG Vehicle Solution Company. “By accelerating these innovations to market, we aim to pioneer the era of AI-driven vehicles in the years ahead.”
LG AI-Powered In-Vehicle Solutions will be on display at the company’s booth during CES 2026 from January 6-9 (#15004, Las Vegas Convention Center).

Integrating Advanced AI Models With High-Performance Computing Powered by
Snapdragon Cockpit Elite Platform, LG Sets New Standards for the AI-Defined Vehicle Era
SEOUL, Dec. 11, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG), a global leader in mobility technologies, is set to unveil its new AI Cabin Platform at CES 2026 in Las Vegas (January 6-9). Designed to run on automotive high-performance computing (HPC) systems, this innovative in-vehicle solution leverages generative artificial intelligence (AI) and is powered by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.’s Snapdragon® Cockpit Elite.
LG will showcase the AI Cabin Platform for the first time at its private showcase during the upcoming CES, where guests can experience a digital cockpit featuring the AI Cabin Platform and preview the AI-defined vehicle (AIDV) – a new mobility paradigm beyond the software-defined vehicle (SDV).
The AI Cabin Platform applies generative AI models – such as vision language models (VLMs), large language models (LLMs) and image generation models – to LG’s in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system, opening the door to a new era of intelligent, context-aware driving experiences.
Leveraging the high-performance compute capabilities provided by Snapdragon Cockpit Elite, all AI calculations are processed on-device and within the vehicle, eliminating the need to communicate with external servers. This enables real-time, more stable operation while enhancing privacy and data security by removing cloud-related vulnerabilities.
The AI Cabin Platform analyzes the driving environment and the driver’s condition using data from internal and external vehicle cameras, enabling real-time personalized assistance. For example, if a nearby vehicle begins merging and the system detects that the driver has not yet noticed it, the platform can proactively issue a tailored alert: “A car is merging ahead. Please keep your eyes on the road and drive safely.”
Additionally, the platform supports generation of customized infotainment user interfaces that adapt to external conditions. If the driver is listening to music on a snowy evening, the system can generate a matching background for the music playback screen – such as snow falling between streetlights or a festively-decorated village – and offer context-aware suggestions like: “It’s a beautiful snowy night. Shall I recommend some winter-themed songs?”
Earlier this year at CES 2025, LG and Qualcomm Technologies highlighted their ongoing collaboration by unveiling the HPC platform – a high-performance computing solution that integrates IVI and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) into a single control unit. Based on Qualcomm Technologies’ Snapdragon Ride Flex System-on-Chip (SoC), the platform consolidates various vehicle functions into one controller, earning praise for achieving both cost efficiency and superior performance.
“Based on our proven technology and global trust, we will continue expanding partnerships with innovators like Qualcomm Technologies to drive future mobility beyond the SDV to the AIDV,” said Eun Seok-hyun, president of the LG Vehicle Solution Company. “With the AI Cabin Platform, we are creating mobility that not only understands drivers, but responds proactively to their needs and preferences, making every journey uniquely personal.”
