Hello,
I have a LG C4 OLED 77 inch TV and my GeForce NOW Premium subscription allows up to 2K resolution and I can set 2K on my Android and Windows devices but I can't set it on the TV which allows only 1080p (or 4K for ultimate subscription which I don't have). It would be nice to have that option because it greatly improves the image quality.
Best regards,
wido

LG Brings the Spirit of Life’s Good to Communities Across Indonesia
With optimism and innovation at our core, we continue to share our Life’s Good philosophy by inspiring joy and connection in local communities. Throughout 2025, LG Indonesia has carried this spirit across the country through meaningful initiatives marking its 35th anniversary – celebrating togetherness, creativity and the everyday moments that make life good.
By combining technology with shared experiences, LG Indonesia is bringing innovation closer to everyday life and creating opportunities for people to experience how technology can uplift and inspire.
Taking Innovation on the Road
Earlier this year, LG Indonesia took our latest AI-powered products and LG ThinQ technology on the road with the Life’s Good Truck Roadshow campaign.
Over several months, the Life’s Good Truck visited 21 cities across Java, inviting visitors to explore and experience our innovations firsthand. Through interactive activities and hands-on product trials, local communities had the chance to engage with LG’s cutting-edge technologies outside of a traditional showroom – turning every stop into a celebration of innovation and connection.
A New Space for Creativity and Connection
Following the roadshow, LG Indonesia opened LG ZonaSeru at CGV Cinemas in Central Park Mall, Jakarta – a space designed to inspire, educate and entertain. More than a display area, LG ZonaSeru reimagines the customer experience as a creative hub where technology and culture meet. With interactive installations, workshops and community events, the space brings people together and embodies the Life’s Good spirit through shared discovery and fun.
Celebrating 35 Years with the Life’s Good Festival 2025: K-Wave Edition
To mark 35 years in Indonesia, LG Indonesia proudly introduced the Life’s Good Festival 2025: K-Wave Edition, hosted at LG ZonaSeru.
Running through the end of the year, the festival invites visitors of all ages to explore the richness of Korean culture through engaging classes in Hangul, K-Food, K-Beauty and K-Pop Dance. Each session is led by professional instructors and popular influencers who make every class accessible, creative and full of energy.
In the K-Food Class, participants can cook healthy Korean dishes using the LG NeoChef Microwave Grill Oven, while the Hangul Class introduces the Korean alphabet and simple vocabulary. The K-Beauty Class offers hands-on insights into skincare and style trends, and the K-Pop Dance Class gets everyone moving with choreography inspired by their favorite idols.
Throughout the festival, visitors can also experience our latest award-winning innovations – including the LG AI OLED evo C5 TV, LG WashTower, LG InstaView Refrigerator, LG DUALCOOL Air Conditioner and LG PuriCare Dehumidifier – each designed to make everyday living smarter, healthier and more enjoyable.
Life’s Good – Every Day, Everywhere
These initiatives show that Life’s Good is more than just a slogan. It’s about creating real experiences that connect people across cultures, celebrate optimism and make technology meaningful in everyday life.
As we celebrate 35 years in Indonesia, we remain committed to bringing innovation directly to communities – enriching daily living with smart, intuitive design and a spirit of togetherness that makes Life’s Good for everyone.

Collaboration to Integrate LG’s High-Efficiency Heat Pumps
With Octopus Energy Group’s AI-Based Kraken Platform
SEOUL, Sep. 2, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with UK-based Octopus Energy Group Ltd. (Octopus Energy) to strengthen its presence in Europe’s clean technology sector. The partnership will combine LG’s advanced, high-efficiency heating and cooling solutions with Octopus Energy’s AI-driven energy software platform, Kraken, to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy in Europe.
The MOU signing ceremony took place on August 28 (local time) at Octopus Energy’s London headquarters. Attendees included Thomas Yoon, head of LG’s Overseas Sales & Marketing Company; Charles Choi, managing director of LGEUK; Greg Jackson, founder and CEO of Octopus Energy; and Tim Heal, Chief Strategy Officer at Octopus Energy.
Octopus Energy is the UK’s largest energy supplier, driving the shift toward a decarbonized future with innovative clean energy solutions. The company provides electricity and gas, and is spearheading the adoption of heat pumps as sustainable alternatives to gas boilers. Its proprietary Kraken platform enables consumers to optimize energy usage through real-time renewable pricing. Since its founding in 2016, Octopus Energy has expanded into more than 30 countries, now serving around 10 million customers worldwide.
Through this collaboration, LG and Octopus Energy will launch a joint solution that integrates LG’s high-efficiency heat pumps with the Kraken platform in key European markets, including the UK and Germany. The combined solution is designed to optimize home heating and cooling while lowering energy costs for consumers. Looking ahead, both companies plan to expand the partnership across additional products and markets, leveraging their complementary strengths to deliver greater value to customers.
LG’s state-of-the-art heat pumps utilize waste heat and ambient energy sources to deliver outstanding efficiency while significantly reducing carbon emissions compared to fossil fuel-based systems. Powered by LG’s proprietary CoreTech inverter scroll compressor, the systems deliver exceptional durability, safety and energy performance.
This strategic partnership positions LG to build on its proven expertise in high-efficiency heating and cooling solutions, enhance its brand presence in Europe, and further expand its global footprint in the clean tech sector.
Greg Jackson, founder and CEO of Octopus Energy, said: “Heat pumps are the linchpin of clean, affordable heating – and LG makes some of the best on the market. By plugging them and their air conditioning units into our Kraken tech, we can make them even cheaper to run, giving households an easy way to cut their bills while helping the planet.”
“This partnership with Octopus Energy Group represents a significant milestone in our European growth strategy,” said Thomas Yoon, head of LG’s Overseas Sales & Marketing Company. “We will continue to explore new opportunities that create differentiated customer value and secure sustainable growth drivers in the global market.”

The LG WebOS Plex App will not start without internet access even though the App is used to access local Media from a Plex Sever on the local network. Samsung, Roku, AppleTV Plex Apps ALL work on the local network playing local Media even if internet access is not available. This is a dealbreaker. I will NOT purchase anymore LG TV’s unless this issue is corrected. The app simply states that “Internet is Not Accessible” and will not continue to load. I don’t care if the internet is not available. My local network IS available and is all that is needed.
