LG TV Doesn't Turn off while Denon Soundbar is connected via ARC

I used to have a JBL soundbar, connected via ARC. Now I switched to Denon soundbar again with ARC connection. But my tv doesn't turn off now, although all other functions are working fine on the remote. Any idea?

This problem can occur due to a few reasons:

  1. HDMI-CEC Settings: Make sure that HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) is enabled on both your TV and the soundbar. This feature allows the devices to communicate with each other. If it's already on, try turning it off and then back on to reset the connection.

  2. Update Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update available for your TV or soundbar. Sometimes, an update can fix bugs or improve compatibility between devices.

  3. Power Settings: Look into the power settings on both your TV and soundbar. There might be a setting preventing the TV from turning off when the soundbar is connected.

  4. Reconnect Devices: Disconnect the soundbar and turn off the TV. Wait for a few minutes, then reconnect the soundbar and try turning off the TV again.

If none of these solutions work, it might be worth contacting LG or Denon support for more specific assistance.

      I recently updated the firmware on my  LG43UH610V.  Now I constantly get "Wired Lan cable disconnected" / "Wired network is connected" messages even while watching a video file from my NAS.       I have google TV which connected with HDMI to my LG
      It worked perfectly first few days and I was able to fully control the TV with remote
      It suddenly stopped working yesterday and i cant contol the tv from remote of the google tv
      I did factory reset to google tv but didn't help
      I do see that controlling enabled both on tv and streamer but still dead. Any ideas?

      I have a Denon AVR hooked up to the HDMI 2 input on my LG tv. When I initially set it up, I was able to control the volume of the Denon receiver by using the LG remote. I enabled CEC Simplink and eARC on the TV and this allowed me to not only use the volume but also turn the receiver on and off automatically with the TV. Recently, my LG tv installed a software update and ever since that point, the TV reverts to TV Audio instead of HDMI 2 every time I turn the TV off and back on again. I then have to change the sound setting to HDMI and the volume control works perfectly. 

      Any tips? I already tried unplugging everything including the HDMI cables, turning CEC and eARK off and back on again, and reverting to all original settings but nothing seems to work.
      My Denon receiver does not have eARC support, not sure if that matters but I'd love to know the best way to set it up to control volume through one remote.
