, and today it's reality. Thanks to homebrew developer Garrett92C, the unified System Preferences app finally exists for TouchPad users. Dubbed (All-In-One-Settings), the Enyo-based app simply takes the seventeen separate Preferences apps and .

On the left you'll find a scrolling alphabetical list of the formerly separate Preferences apps. On the right, your selected Preferences screen. It's as simple as that. AIOSettings works in both landscape and portrait orientations, though if you find yourself wanting additional horizontal real estate you can collapse the list column down to just the icons to view the full-width of your selected Preferences screen. It helps that when laying out the Preferences apps for webOS 3.0, HP purposefully made them narrower than was necessary for the 1024x768 screen of the TouchPad, perhaps with this express purpose in mind. Also, it's worth noting that right now a few of the preference screens (Bluetooth, Print Manager, Software Manager, Text Assist, and VPN) don't open in AIOSettings and instead open in a separate card, but they do at least stack with the origin card. It's a known issue, and one we're sure will be addressed in due time. Before you get worried, AIOSettings does not replace or alter your existing Preferences apps, they're all still there and they all still work.

Like practically all homebrew development for webOS, Garrett92C has done this out of his love for the operating system and is providing AIOSettings . You can grab it now or via our feeds . If you're finding yourself approving of Garrett92C's work (and you should be finding yourself approving), then we might recommend you show your appreciation with as a "thank you" for the work.

Debuting at CES 2026, LG’s Modular LG Sound Suite With Dolby Atmos
FlexConnect Makes Home Audio Simple and Flexible

SEOUL, Dec. 18, 2025 — At CES® 2026, LG Electronics (LG) is transforming home entertainment with LG Sound Suite, a home audio system that gives consumers unprecedented flexibility. At its core is the H7 soundbar – the world’s first with Dolby Atmos® FlexConnectTM – delivering immersive Dolby Atmos sound that adapts to a room’s layout without complicated setup.
LG Sound Suite works seamlessly with LG’s premium TVs, allowing users to pair any of its wireless components – including the M7 and M5 surround speakers, and the W7 subwoofer – with or without the H7 soundbar for 27 possible configurations. This flexibility means consumers can create the perfect setup for their space, whether starting small or building a full 13.1.7-channel home theater. And when the H7 soundbar serves as the lead device, Dolby Atmos FlexConnect works with any TV via HDMI, giving consumers the freedom to meet their entertainment needs. LG is also bringing Dolby Atmos FlexConnect to its 2026 premium TV lineup and select 2025 models* through a future software update, unlocking even more ways to enjoy Dolby Atmos.
Dolby Atmos FlexConnect delivers the simplest and most flexible way to bring immersive Dolby Atmos sound to your favorite big screen. Enjoy astonishing audio that makes every explosion more intense, every song more life-like, every game day more electrifying and every moment more memorable. Setup has never been easier – it’s flexible and intelligently tuned for your personal listening environment.
Audio is reclaiming its place in the living room as streaming has replaced physical media. Leading platforms now deliver movies, shows, and sports in Dolby Atmos and other advanced formats, making cinematic sound widely accessible. This shift has revived home theater, with consumers seeking immersive audio to match the stunning TV visuals. LG Sound Suite answers this demand with wireless convenience, simplicity and performance, bringing true surround sound back to the heart of the home. When combined with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, this ensures personalized immersion – so any seat feels like the best seat. Additionally, Room Calibration Pro analyzes acoustic characteristics and applies AI processing to refine the sound for a balanced, room-filling audio experience.
Powering the H7 soundbar is LG’s most advanced processor, the α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen 3 – the same chip that drives LG’s flagship OLED TVs. Bringing this proven technology to audio delivers added performance and intelligence. The processor uses deep learning and its Neural Processing Unit to create sound with remarkable precision. With AI Sound Pro+, stereo audio can be up-mixed into multi-channel surround sound, while AI-powered object separation ensures voices, music and sound effects are clear and balanced. The system also adapts audio based on content type for optimized sound across different genres.
Every component in the LG Sound Suite features Peerless speaker units, a name synonymous with audio excellence for over a century and renowned for high-performance craftsmanship in premium speaker systems. By pairing the simplicity and flexibility of Dolby Atmos FlexConnect with the high-caliber acoustic performance of Peerless speakers, LG Sound Suite ushers in a new era of immersive Dolby Atmos sound.

Serious About Sustainability, Company Introduces New Material and Production
      Process to Minimize Environmental Impact

SEOUL, Aug. 18, 2025 — LG Electronics (LG) is reducing plastic consumption and carbon emissions by adopting a new material and manufacturing process for its commercial 4-way system air conditioners. Aligned with the company’s Better Life for All ESG vision, these latest efforts demonstrate an unwavering commitment to minimizing environmental impacts.
TÜV Rheinland, a global testing and certification organization, recently confirmed that LG’s newly instituted production process has lowered carbon emissions from the manufacturing of its 4-way system air conditioners to 14.85 kilograms of CO₂ equivalents* per unit. Along with the shift in manufacturing method, the primary driver of this reduction is the introduction of a new material used for the air conditioners’ exterior panels.
Moving away from conventional plastic manufacturing techniques, LG employs a foaming injection molding process whereby nitrogen gas is injected into the mold to create bubbles within the material. This innovative approach reduces plastic use by approximately 900 grams per unit. Additionally, LG has replaced the use of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) with Polypropylene (PP), which has a lower carbon footprint.
These improvements are expected to cut plastic consumption by roughly 270 tons annually and CO₂ equivalent carbon emissions by over 4,400 tons each year – a reduction comparable to the carbon absorbed in one year by a 30-year-old pine forest covering more than 580 soccer fields.
LG began applying its foaming injection molding method to 4-way system air conditioners in June and plans to gradually expand it to other residential and commercial models.
In pursuit of carbon neutrality, LG aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 54.6 percent by 2030 compared to 2017 levels, as outlined in its Sustainability Report. To reach this target, the company is integrating high-efficiency equipment into its manufacturing processes and adopting renewable energy sources to produce high-efficiency appliances leveraging its proprietary Core Tech.
A prime example of Core Tech is LG’s inverter motor technology, which minimizes energy waste by adjusting motor and compressor speeds in real time according to demand. The company has also advanced its environmental compliance by launching an inverter scroll chiller using R32 refrigerant, which has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) about 30 percent lower than R410A refrigerant.
“The new material and manufacturing process we’ve introduced for our 4-way system air conditioner underscored our efforts to minimizing environmental impacts,” said Bae Cheung-hyun, head of the System Air Conditioners Business at the LG ES Company. “LG will continue to leverage innovative technologies to develop eco-conscious air conditioners for a healthier planet.”

Working in close partnership with top experts from all around the world, LG continues to play a leading role in shaping the future of the global heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) industry. As part of that effort, the company holds annual LG HVAC Leaders’ Summits – a global gathering designed to share knowledge, spark innovation and build stronger partnerships.

The 2025 edition of the summit began earlier this year in Africa and is now expanding to key regions including Asia, India, the Middle East and Latin America. This wider reach reflects LG’s goal of fostering deeper collaboration and driving technical exchange across the global HVAC community.

Tailored for professionals passionate about propelling the industry forward, the LG HVAC Leaders’ Summit offers a rich mix of hands-on experiences and expert-led discussions. So far, this year’s events have welcomed influential HVAC consultants and decision-makers from Africa, the Middle East and seven Asian countries. Many attendees are currently involved in major national HVAC projects, making the summit a key forum for in-depth discussions and a gateway to meaningful cooperation.

At the heart of the summit are a series of seminars led by LG experts. Topics have ranged from market-specific challenges – such as carbon-neutral building mandates – to the latest advances in variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technology and specialized cooling solutions for data centers. One standout session focused on LG’s dedicated HVAC systems for data centers, offering participants valuable insight into how LG delivers sustainable, high-efficiency climate control in high-load environments.
Real-world success stories also played a central role. Case studies from Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand, showcased the performance and energy savings achieved with the LG Multi VTM i system. Another session highlighted LG Singapore’s approach to achieving Green Mark certification, reinforcing how LG solutions align with customers’ diverse energy and performance demands.

Participants at the Asia and India Summit also had the opportunity to see LG solutions in action. In Paju, South Korea, they visited a café equipped with 40 LG round cassette indoor units, offering a great example of how HVAC can blend comfort with design. Then in Songdo, they toured a large residential complex utilizing LG’s Multi V S system and 1-way cassettes – demonstrating how LG HVAC integrates seamlessly into modern living spaces.
Meanwhile, attendees from the Middle East took part in technical tours to deepen their understanding of LG’s HVAC capabilities. The first stop explored the company’s chiller factory in Pyeongtaek, where the group observed LG’s high-efficiency chiller manufacturing production line. This was followed by a visit to LG Smart Park in Changwon, home to advanced compressor lines and R&D facilities. These visits showcased LG’s strong manufacturing and innovation backbone, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable, future-ready HVAC solutions.
Beyond the technical sessions and site tours, the summit also created space for relationship-building. Highlights included LG Night, an evening of cultural exchange and networking, where participants connected more personally with the brand and with each other. The summit also served as a platform for sharing LG’s people-centric values, brand philosophy and long-term commitment to building strong global HVAC partnerships.

Building on the summit’s momentum, LG also hosted InnoFest AIR 2025 APAC from June 23 to 25. Around 100 dealers and contractors from 13 Asian countries – including the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam – gathered to experience LG’s latest product lineup. Participants visited LG Smart Park to see residential and commercial air conditioner production lines, and experienced the company’s 60-year legacy of innovation at the Heritage Lounge.

It is unprofessional on part of LG TV that they do not resolve the basic issue of adding app gCmob in their app store.
My 50UT80506LA LG WebOs TV does not support my office security camera system via wifi to TV.  We need (gCmob app) in list of app.
I can't connect my office camera via Wi-Fi to LG-TV. No body in LG TV technical team is proactive in resolving the issue of customer. They are more happy to befool the customers, rather than looking for technical solution through wider thinking.
Please talk to you top management and make a visit to our office to understand the customers plight..
      Please respond to customers needs.

I would like to update the OS on a relatively old TV (manufactured in 2015). So there are questions: how to find your version, where to download a new one and check its compatibility with my TV?
